Well, *look at post title*

I-It's not like I want you to play it or anything!
Well I already know what you'd say!
Holy fuck K-On!! 04 totally nailed Kyoto for me.

I lived there for a year and most of the places they went in the episode were places I'd been to/hung out at for hours upon hours. What really got me though is the shop in the shot below:

I've eaten the ice cream at that freaking place. So nostalgic.

I also have to admit, I'm liking this show WAY more than I ever thought I would. This is coming from somebody who avoided it like the plague for a while cause I thought it looked awful. Dear god, my kids are actually rubbing off on me.
I'm glad you like it so far. Did you already watch all of the first season? Maybe I missed it. I like to see what people think about it, good or bad.
I'm really jealous of all the people who can buy anime figurines and all that. All I have is a Nia Teppelin keychain that I got in a convention and a self-made dakimakura that's already peeling off.

It's why I get other people to buy them for me.

The reason I said they didn't have to include the
Margret
in Persona 4:The Animation was that it's a completely optional boss in the game. It can only be fought on the second playthrough and has no story significance whatsoever. It's just there to be a challenge if you want it. I was really impressed with the way they integrated it into the story of the show. I feel like most people adapting the game would ditch that bit all together.

Help me pick something to watch gaf.
I have hulu on the Xbox and crunchroll on the iPad.
I have seen and enjoyed:
Death Note, Gurren Laggann, Full metal alchemist.
Anything New and worth while or should I watch something old?

Hunter x Hunter and Space Bros are both currently running and fantastic. HxH takes a bit to get going, the way they adapted the first couple arcs wasn't ideal, but it's one of the best things around now. Space Brothers is a show I have zero problems recommending to anybody. I don't think there's a person alive who doesn't like that show. Maybe check out Tsuritama and Gintama as well. All of these are on Crunchyroll.

JoJo's Bizzarre Adventure is probably my favorite new show of the season, sadly none of the stream sites picked it up.

2012 had three amazing shows so far: Fate/Zero, Hyouka and Tsuritama.
With those three you're set for a while.

If we're talking old, you should watch Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis Evangelion if you haven't already.

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol

Now that that's out of the way, hmm...actually, stuff like you mentioned isn't really my field of expertise when it comes to anime. So I guess I can't actually recommend anything you'd be interested in. Sorry.

(Maybe Code Geass or something? I've heard it's pretty good.)

You should download Crackle on the 360. They have a good amount of anime on it (Slam Dunk, Nodame Cantabile and Durarara)

Well, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can say that much.

(It's pretty unintentionally hilarious. You should watch it.)

P.S. Watch Blood C too. It's intentionally hilarious and gory.

By the way, I know I've only been here a short time, but you guys are great and I'm glad I somehow ended up here. :D

Be sure to come around to post impressions and discuss on Korra anime old and new!

Also feel free to join the IRC channel where discussion (on things that may or may not be anime) is more instant.

K-On!! was the best show of 2010! Better late than never though. And now you can bond with your students. lol

So this giant plush was sold out a week after I first saw it and mulled over buying it. For 300 dollars though, I assume it's pretty hefty. :p

dude, what the fuck? Is this what Miku would do?

I like the artwork, and the characters are amusing. But too much of the drama was overdone, and sometimes the characters screaming out with no self awareness made me cringe.

And no, it's not what Miku would do. Miku's heart loves all. :D
