Koi Kaze is the only anime that does incest right.

I feel like everyone here is forgetting something.

I really expected I would LOVE this movie, but I was a bit disappointed in the end. It's not bad by any means, but the pacing is pretty bad in the second half, the animation isn't as stellar as I expected it to be (the art is interesting though) and the action scenes aren't exactly that good (and they are short and don't happen that often). The story was interesting, but its execution was lacking. It was good, not great, Redline was much better (and prettier).

That's not really a fair comment though, considering how much time and money Madhouse sunk into making Redline a visual tour-de-force.

Oh, I'm sure it will shock and appal one-coatGAF to learn that I've acquired another coat. I'm sorry that I've disappointed everyone.

What kind of man only has one coat? They are not men. They are hobos.

You go get those coats, Jex!

There's no need to mind those "flipping out" over them.

Kaiji S2 2-6

Ah, Kaiji, Kaiji, Kaiji. He's a man known for being played the fool
only to outsmart the opposition in the end
. I must say the intangible hurdle presented in this situation is interesting simply on the merits of
being related to food and drink
. In the beginning, it's not a fight to simply gain more money, but to keep what he has earned (and get more on top of it). Rather than a traditional bet with odds on more to gain, this situation leaves Kaiji with only more to lose
(except cold beer running down his throat)
. The primitive call of instantaneous gratification encompasses many forms. The weakness of will shown near the start is all quite natural and "human" as I've come to expect of the character.

The battlefield is heating up and I am awaiting how it all turns out.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes 1-26

I don't think outstanding even starts to describe this, as a mecha fan I'm simply ashamed I never took the time to watch it before. Then again, it's nothing your mileage 80s/90s mecha anime at all, rather something that will appeal to more hardcore SF fans.
I'm considering recommending it to some friends who aren't that much into anime but love SF in general.

Episode 26 was a magnificent closure to the series first quarter and hit me pretty hard.
I seriously had to restrain my tears when Reinhard asked Annerose if she loved Kircheis.

So pumped for what comes next.

I was really confused by your post for a second because another user has a Crossbone avatar that's very similar to yours.

Psycho Pass 3:
This was much stronger than episode 2. The story was allowed to have more time to evolve, and that made it work better within the confines of the narrative, but we also still learned a little more about the society. The reasons which I loved this episode so much are probably all personal, though. The story of the criminal resonated a lot with experiences within my own life, so I felt a pretty strong connection there, and it felt very realistic (sadly so) to me. We also get to see first hand how the way this society is set up really has a negative effect on people's outlooks and psyche, so I hope that is further developed as the show goes on. My biggest complaint so far is that I don't think we really know enough about the main cast. There have been some hints as to more there, but so far we don't really have much to go on.

I hope you enjoy the finale of best-arc!

Okay, 7 coats is a bit excessive.

Then again I have like 5 or so jackets.

This show continues to be super adorable.
This episode was a little sad towards the end when we find out a bit of Rikka's past life story.
It would explain why she is always pretending. She is running away from a reality she is very afraid of.
Sister is still best girl. Not even a contest.

Also I LOVED this as an amateur radio operator myself:
A Yaesu FT101 Transciever? Where did you find that little lady?
On second thought its not an FT101. It might be older.

Darker Than Black Vol. 3 Ep. 1

This episode really didn't pull me in like most of the others. I found it hard to stay focused on what was going on. But whatever. I'm just tired. Maybe I should put this show off till tomorrow and watch something lighter and funner.

PSYCHO-PASS 06

Man, this episode is getting into the creepy cases.

I do rather like how there seems to be some overarching plot that's going around. This episode did a good job of somewhat developing two of the side characters that are there but haven't really done anything.

But, that ending...

I want to watch a decent space anime like Planetes soon, and I hear that Space Brothers is good. I am just not sure if I could keep up with the story though if it is a three cour anime or more.
I will have to respectfully disagree that Planetes is simply a 'decent' anime. For the uninitiated, it appears as a simple 'dudes in space do space things' anime. Yet it transcends standard space shenanigans with it's astonishingly accurate attention to detail that would make an orbital mechanics specialist cry tears of joy.

Space Bros is, at this point (currently up to date) more of an Earth Drama about a man with space aspirations than a 'space show', just like Milky Holmes is not a detective show. The show's many characters interact and behave like adults for the most part, And while there is some comedy there's very little juvenile derps derping about simply to try and force a laugh. After the 2nd arc, it slows down a bit, but the first 2 cours are a great ride with a likeable and modestly intelligent MC.

Right Stuf update their countdown sales

The only thing I would of been interested in is Infinite Stratos but I have it already.

Only thing I would look into RahXephon DVD Complete Collection (Hyb), Retail: $59.98,Your Price: $19.99*(67% Off) cause its mecha and Ive not seen it but heard good things, but then I guess there was a BD rerelease in JPN, so I dont know if I should just wait it out.

The 21st for the next wave is so far away.

Holy fuck K-On!! 04 totally nailed Kyoto for me.

I lived there for a year and most of the places they went in the episode were places I'd been to/hung out at for hours upon hours. What really got me though is the shop in the shot below:

I've eaten the ice cream at that freaking place. So nostalgic.

I also have to admit, I'm liking this show WAY more than I ever thought I would. This is coming from somebody who avoided it like the plague for a while cause I thought it looked awful. Dear god, my kids are actually rubbing off on me.

KyoAni really go above and beyond. Lovely stuff =)

Subete no aware
I can not believe that the team in Chihaya Furu is even a question.
There is the team full for losers and friendzoners, and there is Team Arata aka the winning team.

That reminds me of the time I got stopped by a cop and I had a giant duck plushie in the backseat of my truck. I was tired and I hate cops so I was nervous and he handcuffed me and put me in back of his car so he could search my truck. I guess he wanted to find something to incriminate me with. But all he found was the duck and a box of boxes so he gave up and left.
Well, at least the duck wasn't harmed?

Looks like the Psycho-Pass website updated today with Amano's concept sketches for Yayoi. Only Gino and Shogo are left.

My girl! I should start looking around for some ShionxYayoi art soon.

Zetsuen no Tempest - 06

The teasing was unbearable and did nothing but lower my opinion of
Aika and Yoshino
.

Now that it appears they're heading to their
final battle
, hopefully we're done with this flashback nonsense and can return to the fights that were actually somewhat entertaining.
