My understanding of the bobbleheads is if you apply them and you have less than 10 points it just bumps you up by one point. However, if you wait to get them until you have 10 points then the bobbleheads will push you to 11. But applying them with less than 10 will make it so you cannot go over 10 at all.

The release timing for this industry is just making things impossible to manage now. Totally forgot this game was coming out but with basically everything this year releasing in the last 3 months this, much like almost every other game, will need to go on my waiting list. Hoping its least better than 3 or New Vegas, but I guess I'll have a bit of time to find out before buying it now.

Most of us are going to do multiple playthroughs and be playing it for a long time, just like people are still playing Skyrim after hundreds of hours. It sucks but overall it really doesnt fucking matter
Why not? Some play a game for the story, some for other things. It sucks, and it matters. Some people are not most people. I am not most people.

You absolutely can do an Imperator Furiosa looking character in the game. Once you're at Diamond City you can redo your face and body and add face paint and a few new hairstyles. The character creator is pretty good. Miles and miles better than Skyrim.

Also I really like the game a lot. It has a lot to live up-to in my books but it's done really well. And I think it looks great.

feels more like Mass Effect with the voiced protagonist. and dialog options are very noticeably chopped down.

also, getting into conversations is weird. Sometimes they just happen automatically? and others you hit A and it takes the NPC forever to react.

is there a way to compare stats in the shop? I'm on controller on pc. I guess I could remember all my items' stats, but the past 15 years of RPGs have spoiled me a bit.

It's def a Bethesda game-- very fun and awesome, but lots of little things to be ironed out in patches and mods. I'd actually say the bar is starting higher than usual with this one.

Nope, gotta look at the plus and minus signs next to the item stats to compare it to your current equipped weapon/armor.

And I thought the dialogue was pretty cool until I noticed certain options get locked out if you don't ask them. I'm used to being able to go back and choose every other dialogue option.

Holyfuck this
Lexington
area is kicking my ass lol. Cleared everyone outside, then I go inside and there are like 20 more Raiders. Wish I didn't have to be at work right now. I need some fucking revenge for the amount of times these assholes have killed me.

Also, I'm really loving the game. Playing on PS4 and I've actually been pleasantly surprised by how it looks from a graphical standpoint. Not getting any frame rate issues either. Super impressed.

Well, my copy comes later today, but I found out that it's only 5GB of data on the disk, still have to download 19GB. If I would have known this I would have just went and bought it on Steam to begin with. I have a data cap which is why I went with the physical version to avoid this. I have enough data for this month, so it's not a huge deal. Just a tad irritated.

Best drive to work ever!! Goodbye civilization.

I was genuinely surprised at the line in Target for the Nuka Cola Quantum.

Does the whole game lead up to that ending spoiler or is it not that big of a deal in the grand scheme? How much of the experience is tarnished knowing the ending?

Personally, in this particular case, getting spoiled gave me motivation to actually aim to finish the main quest. Otherwise I didn't care, but now I want to see the ending with my own two eyes.

Also lol I thought I was playing on normal, but apparently I've been playing on hard all this time. Haven't had any difficulties and I've got a stupid amount of healing items already. Might bump it up to very hard.

Just bought the game, downloading now :)

Also, after just seeing a clip on how good nerd rage(slow time like in Max Payne) is, I have decided to change my build yet again :)

Will make sure to have 10 int with bubblehead. My new build will be:

S - 2
P - 4
E - 3
C - 3
I - 9
A - 4
L - 3

Have a small issue with the backstory forced on the female character. Early game spoilers, like as in the first 30mins.
I don't like the fact a law degree was forced on me. I started with 7 intelligence so It isn't a huge deal, but It'd be very annoying if I'd gone for a low intelligence build
.

Barely started, but loving it so far.
It is so strange this impression that the game is both beautiful and ugly at the same time... I guess coming from a patched old engine with a few current effects thrown in.

My 970m laptop is having a rock stable framerate so far at 1080p (medium settings). Will play with settings later to see where I can get it.

So Fallout is my wife's jam. She has tons of Fallout collectibles and clothing. She brings home some Red Bull and munchies after work. Takes a vacation day from work today. I go to bed at 1 AM after getting out of the vault and she is on the other PS4 and I say good night. I wake up, she is not by my side, I go into the office and there she is still playing. Lol. We are in our 30s and could never pull off a all-nighter again.

I have a question about the
Ghoulish
Perk

Do you actually gain health instead of losing health for radiation? AKA for the rest of the game Radiation does not hurt you? Seems op

As an attorney, I can assure you that not all that share my profession have been allocated high levels of intelligence.

All in on luck, roll them dice.

That ending spoiler on my morning commute :(

Oh well.

Is there a good guide on how the power armor works? I don't think I'm a fan of how it's separated this game...

Can someone easily explain to me what icons means next to items when looting. What does + stands for etc? Im little bit lost.

Game's been frustrating for me today. I dunno if I suck or what, but I keep getting killed easily. I'm trying to get into the game's "Go anywhere" sort of feel, but it really seems to be "Go anywhere... but there... and not there... you probably shouldn't go there either... I suppose you could go there, but you're going to die.."

ugh

So how will I know if the character name I enter is speak-able?
Will I only find out hours later in the game, or can I enter a name and immediately find out?

I'm finding myself quite lost aswell. I'm on a mission where I needed to kill all raiders in certain areas, and god... I needed to go there to kill some enemies and come back to my shelter 3 times already and there's still enemies in the place.

I'm feeling as I am doing something very wrong aswell. I think I'll try to do other quests and level up a little more, and / or try to find a sinper.

Is this true? Can anybody confirm? If it is then it makes a heck of a lot of sense to just wait.
