Random invisible barriers are starting to piss me off. There's a place SE of Searchlight Airport that I can see on my radar but I can't get to at all.
This was a problem for me while trying to reach the northwest most ranger station.

I'm having a hard time figuring how to join the Legion. I've only found 1 camp and did the small quest you get from one of the first towns. Should I just continue on with the main quest for now?

Also I'm finding very few energy weapons. The only good ones I have is the plasma pistol and the flamer. Can anyone point me in the general direction of some better weapons?
In case no one answered it, you can go to the Silver Rush (energy weapon shop) in Freeside and steal every weapon on display if you have a Stealthboy.

Man, I love my .44. Got it at 100% condition and it can blow both the heads of a Brahim. Forget all that laser and plasma crap, there's nothing like a good revolver.

I have a question for people who've been to the Lucky 38 casino...

I just got the Presidential Suite but I'm not sure yet if I want to actually help/befriend Mr. House. He seems very shady. If I start keeping my extra items in the suite's wardrobes then I piss off House or something, would I loose all the stuff I'm keep there?

One thing that does bug me, at least on my console version, is that when a quest has multiple objectives it'll put like 3 or 4 waypoints on your compass which makes it pretty much useless.

I agree that waypoints are kinda badly implemented. When they have multiple waypoints, I feel they should have been marked at least when you move the cursor over then, saying what the waypoint is.

You wasted time telling Hsu about it, it's all your fault!

I didn't get the prompt for the monorail till speaking to Hsu, though. The mistake I think I made was in not being stealthy enough in eavesdropping on the spy's conversation. But it's all good. Just gotta find another way to the Strip now.

Yeah, the option never came up for me. The spy saw me when I went inside the tower before finishing his convo, so I had to kill him since he went aggro. When I went back to Hsu he told me to go disarm the bomb, but when I got to the monorail, it went off and exploded before I could enter it (that automatically happens). Gotta live with the consequences! I still got positive rep with the NCR for removing the mole, though. :lol

I didn't engage the spy after hearing the conversation. I also did not report back to Hsu immediately because there was no time. I went straight for the monorail, disarmed the bomb before the train left, and then reported to Hsu. The bomb disarming was totally nerve wrecking too. I have pretty much no explosives skill, and my science wasn't up to notch. I ended up having to eat Mentats and read a science mag on the spot to just push the stat 1 point over the requirement to disarm it. Felt good man.

Whoever did Vault 11 should win an award. I found no real treasure, no big, difficult fights, but it still stands out as the single best gaming experience I've had in years.
Eric Fenstermaker designed Vault 11.

Who did the writing for Veronica? She's my favorite companion by far and quickly becoming one of my favorite female characters in gaming, period.
Eric "Hollywood" Fenstermaker.

Who wrote Yes Man?
John Gonzalez.

Who did the writing for Arcade Gannon?
I did.

I jumped the gun too quickly in entering the tower and barely heard any of the convo before he saw me, so I simply never knew about the monorail until getting back to Hsu, which was too late. :( I like those types of choices in quest design, in that if you sit there and listen to the convo you'll naturally know what the problem is, but if you don't hear it you're fucked.

where does one find this vault 11?

I have yet to see a vault. I've played well over 20 hours but I still can't commit to progressing the story. I'd rather do my own thing, thank you.

I believe it's on the north end of the dry lake, north of HELIOS One.

The new Nvidia drivers ficked the white speck/flash problem when AA was turned on, sweet!

Hell yeah. Probably have some performance improvements, but I was already running at 60 FPS 99% of the time. :D

Game crash when entering the Strip
Try loading back an earlier save before entering the Strip
............Really beth, this is the first thing I fucking did and it crashes everytime without fail, give me a real fix.

After completing the Debt Collector quest, I'm not able to re-enter the strip.
Our team is looking into this problem. In the meantime, try returning to the strip equipping an Old Cowboy Hat (or McCaffery's Hat).

Where do I find an old cowboy hat?

I snagged me a Q-35 Matter Modulator. :p Cool-looking weapon.

I'm hoping it doesn't hurt the challenge, though. Seems quite powerful, even if my Energy Weapons skill is still at base 10. And with Veronica, getting Microfusion Cells when I'm out in the wasteland won't be a big issue. What a swell gal.

What ranged weapons can Veronica use? I want to use her without blowing her up, so melee is out. Tried giving her plasma casters and such, but she only keeps her 10mm on.

Don't think Veronica can use any plasma weapons. I've just kept her as melee with her power fist, though. Since I gave her some power armor she's pretty solid defensively. I'm playing on Very Hard but the only fights I'm that worried about taking my companions in are ones with Deathclaws.

I got her to use the Flamer. The submachine gun worked too.

Met Chief Hanlon. Magnificent voice casting there. :D

That whole quest, given that you choose particular options during/at the end of it, is marvelous.

Honestly one of the best parts of the game for me.

I thought both of their heads always blow off when you at least remove them one way or another.

Maybe it's just the powerful weapons.

Like the Ratslayer.

Sorry, overly addicted to that weapon. :lol

What the hell >:[

Decided to get the platinum chip after putting it off for so long...

Get to the fort.

"Ah the mark of ceasar, right this way"

go up the mountan to the drawbridge.

Talk to the dude there zooms in. Zooms out. I'm back at the fucking raft. What the fuck.

If I don't talk to him, everyone kills me through the door.

Watdo.

Edit: Upon checking a guide the guy who glitches up on me is supposed to take my weapons before entering. Fuck.

Anybody know who did the voice for Jason Bright in the game? I can't find a voice credit for him. There were times where I thought he sounded just like Mark Hamill. Of course if it was I guess they would have made a fuss about that.

Does anyone else hear it?

My game keeps getting progressively brighter. I had to turn the in-game brightness slider all the way down. Very annoying. It was happening before and after I installed the new drivers.

I definitely hear it.

Although after watching that one kid voice Marty McFly in the Back to the Future game from Telltale, everyone sounds like someone famous.

The NVidia update did seem to improve AA performance. I've upped AA and AF without any noticeable FPS drop.

I updated drivers and now have the game running completely maxed out (Ultra, Max AA, Max AF) at 1080p res on a constant and non-stuttering 60FPS.

This is now Game of the Forever.

Question about a Guns and Bullets location:
Where the hell is the Zoara Club inside Gomorrah? I've looked around but I can't figure out where the hell it is.

Just beat the game and got the hardcore achievement, oh yeah. I was very happy with my ending and I can't wait to play through this game again. Definitely GOTY by far.

Yeah, I thought the same thing while playing that mission. Has to be him.

Just can't stop thinking about this game. Daydreaming at work all day about what I'm doing and what my current objectives are. So good.

Is there a console command to change your rep with a faction?

The legion attack me on sight inside of the camp despite the Mark of Caesar.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mark_of_Caesar

Bugs Edit
Caesar's Legion may still be hostile towards the player, even when carrying the Mark of Caesar. This could be because you have a companion (like Boone) who hates the Legion. I notice this stops once we stop traveling together.

Could it because I told ED-E to wait for me at the near by ranger camp?

Blehghgh

First bug after 13 hours of pure bliss. A very annoing one, i can't talk to mercenary Andy on Novac without force the game to lockup :(

Give us some more patches Bethesda!

Yeah, great quest.
had him turn himself in, that speech was so good. Felt bad afterwards.
I guessed who it was too, the voice that is.
Whistler from Blade.

Really, really, really, great quest.

End of GI Blues question:
Does becoming a King add negative RNC reputation?
Also what's the point?(besides getting a cool jacket)

So, other than Return to Sender above, any suggestions for what some of the coolest quests are and where to find them?

So far my favourite is Vault 11.
