PS3:
- 720p w/ no anti-aliasing
- Higher texture detail
- More ambient sounds and higher sound quality
Xbox 360:
- 720p w/ 4x multisample anti-aliasing
- Smoother framerate and less geometry/texture streaming issues.

Wow, i shouldn't have picked the Swift Learner perk. I feel like i'm going through the game too fast.

This game is superior to Fallout 3 in every way, even with the occasional bug.ACE 1991 said:So is the consensus on this game "inferior to Fallout 3 given the bugs?" I'm currently playing through fallout 3 for the first time and really loving it, and am wondering if I should just wait for some more patches before getting New Vegas.

I prefer thinking of it as "Significantly better than Fallout 3 but it sure could use another patch"ACE 1991 said:So is the consensus on this game "inferior to Fallout 3 given the bugs?" The beginning of this game isn't as interesting as fallout 3, plus a main town was just around the comer. The first main town here is probably novac.kyo_daikun said:After 3 hours in the game I would disagree.
After 10 hours would agree 100000%
Game has become a hell of a lot more interesting than F3, the missions are better, the followers are great (tho make the game a little too easy) and the levelling system makes you think a lot more about what kind of character you build.

sangreal said:I thought you could continue playing after the credits, is that not the case? Only option I seem to have is to play from my last save.
Also, what was the reward for beating it on hardcore?
kyo_daikun said:No replay after the credits, probably going to be like F3 and you need a dlc like Broken steel.

TeTr1C said:Boone was killed yesterday at Cottonwood Cove, during a huge battle with the Legion. We were sneaking into the camp at night, and Boone decided to run ahead when he saw an enemy and have a machete fight with the sleeping one in the tent. After surviving that, all hell broke loose, and while I was occupied with blowing Legion's heads off, he died in the tent. I cleared the cove and went back to his body, propped him up in the corner of the tent in sitting position, made a wall of crates around him in the corner, and put his red beret on top the crates as a mourning site. If he doesn't disappear I can go back and visit him. :lol
Barberetti said:Also, I hear that the radio station isn't as good as Fallout 3's. I wouldn't know as I haven't really felt the urge to listen to it. A bad sign maybe?

Fuck it. It's Obsidians fault for having my dude run so god damn slow. That and the wasteland in New Vegas is much more unforgiving. I am level 14 and am still getting owned by death claws. New Vegas is a COMPLETELY different beast than FO:3. It actually forces me to do quests to level up so I can explore.Benedict said:Yes, but it feels like I'm cheating everytime I do it...

Edit: Why can't I aquireto come on my travels with me, she keeps on saying she wants to go with me and I ask her to come but then it gives me the dialogue option which says sorry but I can't take you right now. And there's no one with me either when I do that. Does something have to trigger?Veronica
