Ok so... Phases 4-5 are just setting up the Multiversere Saga right?

EDIT: What I am saying that a lot of movies and shows are.going to feel inconsequential. And Kevin Feige's masterplan is not going to be clear until Phase 6.

An indie film like Everything Everywhere All at Once did more justice to the multiverse concept than Multiverse of Madness. Marvel really needs to step up their game if they are calling this current phase 'The Multiverse Saga'.
One little movies VS an interconnected series of TV shows and movies.

I think Marvel is just setting things up for the "Multiverse Saga" to pay off satisfactorily.

It will be interesting to know the aftermath of everything, as he explains how everything changed and is not how he wanted.

I see this:

Phase 4: you just broke up a 10-year relationship....you are fucked up and trying to find your footing.

Phase 5: you are single and going to the GYM .

Phase 6: Now you are ready for action.

Phase 4 to 6 is the Multiverse Saga. Phase 1-3 was the Infinity Saga.

They never said the word Infinity Stone ever in Phase 1.

We already have three Multiverse movies/shows in Phase 4.
That is what I am saying. It wasn't after the post-credit scene in the avengers that everything 'clicked'.

I don't think so far we have had that specific moment of:

"oh this is what are we build up to".

Yes we have. Multiple times in Doctor Strange. They were beating people over the head with Incursions.
Maybe for hardcore fans. I am not a hardcore fan at all.

I am following the MCU just in a vacuum. I don't know 99% of the characters/storylines/and everything around it.

So far this is how it feels like, I guess this 'uncertainty' it is why there is the sentiment of the MCU is declining.

Dude it takes a couple of seconds to look up what an Incursion is in Marvel.

They beat people over the head with it in Doctor Strange and tonight they announced Secret Wars.

Phase 1= 5 stand alone films and the 6th film where the heroes come together. Reveals Thanos at the end.

Phase 2 = 6 stand alone films with 4 scenes hinting at the Infinity stones and Thanos

Phase 3 = 8 stand alone films containing 4 scenes hinting at the Infinity stones, 2 movies that are the culmination of the Infinity Saga and a bookend film that completes the Saga.

Phase 4 = 6 stand alone films and 7 stand alone TV series with 5-7 scenes or hints as to where the MCU is heading.

Yep, they have to stretch a phase in so much content between movies and shows. And the 'hints' get lost or some content feel inconsequential...until it's are not I guess.

WandaVision was the origin of Photon and Agatha, who come back in The Marvels and Agatha gets her own series.

Black Widow introduced Yelena for Thunderbolts.

Falcon and Winter Soldier sets up Cap 4 and introduces US Agent for Thunderbolts.

Loki introduces both the Multiverse and Kang who just has TWO movies announced tonight.

Hawkeye sets up both Echo and Daredevil Born Again.

Shang-Chi reintroduced Abomination for Thunderbolts and established a new cosmic Macguffin.

Ms Marvel was an origin story that continues in The Marvels.

Eternals introduced Black Knight and Blade.

Doctor Strange 2 introduced Incursions which leads directly to Secret Wars.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
For someone whose not really into the comic side of things.

Are Secret Invasion and Secret Wars related plot threads, or do they just have similar sounding names.

Secret Invasion is about Skrulls infiltrating Earth.

Secret Wars is about entire universes colliding into each other resulting in a world ruled by GOD EMPEROR DOOM.

Apart from Ms Marvel continuing in The Marvels, surely there is a link between Shang Chi's rings and Kamala's bracelet/s. They didn't show the Ten Rings logo for nothing in the Ms. Marvel show right?

Phase 1-3: The Infinity Saga
Phase 4-6: The Multiverse Saga
Phase 7-9: The Dark Phoenix Saga

Unfortunately Fox has destroyed any goodwill left in the "phoenix" name. I assume /hope we get a Messiah Complex Uncanny Trilogy. ( House of M, Second Coming and Messiah War) with the Final SAGA of the MCU being Avengers Vs. X-Men

Secret Wars "should" be the end/ reboot of the MCU but not if it's happening in the middle of the saga.

Fox also killed the F4 name, yet here we are.

That is true. You make a good point however, I'm not talking about the entire IP I just mean that story of the X-men is very tainted.

The first F4 Fox movie was at least ok (To be fair, I haven't seen it in forever so maybe not) but with Doom on the horizon I have faith that Marvel can finally get him right and thus make the F4 worthy.
