After having stopped with RE6 three chapters in, I have finally a game to play this year.

I think it will need a few more 9.5's and 10's to beat ME3, but it will definitely be near the top at least.

Guessing handheld enhanced ports of older games don't count. Persona 4 Golden has a 95 metacritic score. Just saying lol.

After watching 3 video reviews i'm pretty sure there won't be any rain effects in this game.

I'm a sucker for this stuff so that's a HUGE minus for me. How can you have such an amazing skybox without any weather effects. Yes, i know Dan said in the feature video there is a weather system in the game but that doesn't mean it will get rainy.

Please tell me i'm wrong.

Dang, surprised by such high scores.

If this game fixes the main problem I had with FC2, mainly that navigating from place to place was a huge pain in the ass, then I'm on board.

Actually about this, FC2 both maps are made from minimaps. I had usually loading screen moments when I was traveling on foot and hit the line between the minimaps if I had hours of playing into the game as in front of me I could see only the sky and everything just disappearing or it was trying to appear as everything was loading. Pretty much the mountains that blocks you is the reasons why you have to go go around them all the time, being set around the edges of the minimaps in order to not see sky. Also another reason why you could use Hang Glider only in few places. There are safehouses set at the top of the mountains in map two and from there you could see from distance only the sky. Something similar to Fallout interiors or like level map by level.

Here this is totally different with the open world having with one huge map build as you can see that from the top of their Radio Towers. So nobody is going to block you now.

You are incorrect. There's a full weather system. According to ubi. I've even seen footage.
