So I know Malvo likes to bug phones and such, but how did he know what pet store to call and that Don (Fargo Dennis) would be there at that time? He says he told his mom, but how would Malvo find any of this out, while in the station?

Well, I like to see Malvo as some sort of all knowing character. Something supernatural, devil like character, without it being too crazy. He also says that Grimly is going to say 'Your're making a mistake', and Grimly actually says that. How can Malvo know that? I don't know but I just roll with it.

I just rewatched the whole scene, and he didn't. And later when they meet in a cafe, Malvo calls Freeman Lester, but he knows only his last name, because nurce called him.
So my question stands, how did Lester know Malvo's name?
