Sun Wukong has gotta be one of the most powerful servants. He fights gods and irritates Buddha (who we know is an EX-rank servant).
Nyx would make for a pretty cool servant. Caster or assassin.

Question for JP players regarding the guaranteed 5* drop with purchased quartz.
When I do a summon there´s a message saying that free quartz will be spent first.
Will I have to spend all my hoarded quartz before getting the guaranteed 5* when it´s available?
That would suck because I was planning on holding it all for Jeanne Alter but I´d be forced to spend all my quartz by new year´s if I were to take advantage of the guaranteed 5*.

the guaranteed 5* banner can only be rolled using paid quartz. Also it doesn't count the bonus quartz you get as part of the paid ones. As a result you will used your paid quartz first.

I just barely downloaded this game and started to play it...

I think It´s still going. Go to the shop and choose the first option. It should be there.
That´s after you have redeemed the items from your inbox ofc.
I think that promotion's still going? It ends on the 20th. You're also guaranteed a 4 star Servant from your tutorial roll and you should still be getting enough free quartz for another 10 roll if you want to reroll for a 5 star Servant.
You can't 10-pull with summon tickets. Only with quartz. Spend away or save for a rate-up you like more.

The free servant is available for two weeks, but you don't get the ticket for the free servant unless you were playing during the first week.

It's still going, but I don't think I'm eligible for it. According to the game, the "Master Recruitment Campaign" went on from July 4th-July 13th. I literally installed and started playing this game on the 14th, so I can't get the item that lets you redeem for one of the 10 4* servants.
If you're just in it for Martha, you could always try re-rolling a few times. It might take you a few tries, but she's one of a handful of starter characters you can receive in the tutorial gatcha.

I did it without having to use command spells with a level 80 Jeanne, 60 Emiya, and 70 Altera. You should be ok with Jeanne and Waver in the team. I just kept spamming NPs.

On the subjects of accounts, having a main and an alt during the 1/2 AP event is hell. Just as I run out of AP on one (grinding the 20 AP XP dailies and ranking up) the other is full. Rinse/Repeat.
I'll keep the Waver + Vlad account until Tamamo Caster hits, since I really want to see if I can land the "Arts Team". If not, I'll likely just let my alternate go and focus on my Waver + Gilgamesh account.
The things we (or rather, I) do for these gatcha games. Wait, my main has AP again, time to spend it!
Thanks as well. I have been interested in most Ascension stages I have open ever since I found out that our best loot locator list doesn't really have them listed for drops since they aren't farmable.

Finished it today. It was not hard to be honest. Went with my Jeanne (90), Martha (50) and Vlad (60) support, with Emiya, Medea and Mash in the back. The most difficult part was Heracles, and even then, it was not as difficult as it was announced (but it has a lot of HP!)
I was using my normal strategy of spamming NP every two or three turns, with Jeanne providing healing and paralysis, and Martha reducing DEF with Tarasque, then Vlad doing a lot of damage with either his NP or his Buster. The only one who died was Vlad, as Heracles was really keen on targeting him only, and then Medea finished him with a couple quick Rule Breakers.

You dont need Tamamo Caster to play Arts team. Any AA or AAA servant will make arts team. While support is nice to have for hard stages/missions you wont be using them much while farming the same stages on events. It's usually preferable to make more dmg focused teams to farm events faster than trying with supports and manage skills/np right.
I cant imagine the pain farming event stages with waver + tamamo caster. It could take ages to finish the battle.
Waver + tamamo caster is great combo for challenge quests but there are like only few per event and one time only.

Thanks for this, BTW. I'm not so worried over not getting her now. Arts teams do sound a bit slow (flashy for sure, being able to fire off your NP's aplenty), which is probably why Berserker/Buster teams are the preferred choice for farming. From what I've read, once Gilgamesh gets his Interlude, his NP gets a massive upgrade that essentially does the damage of a single nuke but that it hits all enemies, as well as an additional amount to Servants and generating a hell of a lot of critical stars in addition. With him and another AOE of that type (hell, I could even bring a second Gilgamesh in that case), that should help lessen the farming pace considerably.
I just need to wait a year (it was around a year, right?) for that Interlude to hit. Ugh!

It's hard to beat 3 Berserker farms where you just 3-turn everything. There's no point in doing anything else unless you really hate your mortal lifespan and wish to waste as much of it as possible.
Most people save Arts/NP-spam teams, Quick teams, Crit teams, etc. for challenge fights and bosses. Unless you have a Bond 10 Herc in which case you just let him solo the boss because, well you know why.

Another worthless 10-pull, so I used my free ticket for Heracles.
Now doing dailies while playing Final Fantasy 12 to get some levels.
Is it best to spend those green prisms on EXP- and Stat-Up cards or should I buy tickets for that 1-3% chance for 4* and 5* characters?

Always get the summon tickets, you never know what luck may bring. The ATK up cards are alright while the HP up ones are pretty meh unless you really, really like a particular servant and want to max out all their stats. Otherwise save them for future events that allow you to exchange them for special craft essences and other goodies.

Any tips on doing this? Maybe its because I dont have any super high leveled berserkers (Herc is at 50), but I found that they are too squishy to take on the 40 AP quests. They also need 2+ hits to take stuff out even with a buster chain. The lower level quests are no problem though
I'm 100% sure I have a couple of backup accounts with Saint Martha and the 4* ticket still available.
I won't be home for 7 or so hours so I wouldn't be able to give you the info until then, but if you'd like (and/or you haven't managed to roll her by then) I'd be happy to give you the details then and let you choose one of them.
I usually run the 40 ap with Waver/Herc (50 too) plus a support (Jeanne, another Waver, Altera or Altria).
On the first turn I burn every skill, Waver´s np up and Herc´s evade plus his attack up skill.
A herc buster chain can kill an enemy on the first turn, if it isn´t available I go for a lower level enemy if possible.
On the second turn I don´t burn skills and try to get a second enemy as low as possible, then if Berserker is hit I use my own heal skill. On the next turn Herc is in danger of dying I use my own evade skill on him and by then Herc´s own evade is usually available again.
If I get very unlucky he dies on the second battle, but usually I get some stuns from Waver´s NP, Jeanne's invincibility or enemies simply don´t focus on Herc. It´s very rare a battle in which Herc dies before 3rd battle and I usually get to kill 2 enemies on the first round of 3rd battle with his NP+chain.
Edit: Just realised you might mean 3 turn the whole thing, then yeah I don´t think that´s possible yet.

Yeah, I didn't mean you can 3-turn the whole thing on the 40/20 AP. Not at our levels anyways. You should be able to 3-turn each round though, resulting in a total of 9 turns if you strictly Buster your way through. If you have a Lancelot on Support, he can single-turn any one of the 3 rounds with his NP. Alternatively, bring in a single strong AoE Servant who isn't a Berserker and put a Sakura or Kaleidoscope on them, build their NP, and use them to clear a round. Altera, Altria, Altria Alter, etc. are all good for this.
You should be able to single-turn Brave chain the 23-24k HP hands with 50 Herc, 50 Lancelot, or 50 Vlad. 50 Herc use Valor before starting a Brave chain. Lancelot and Vlad already have enough ATK to do it without a buff. It doesn't need to be Buster Brave chain but always lead with the Buster card, then put the Arts or Quick card after it in the chain. This is great if your Herc, Lancelot, or Vlad has a Sakura or K-scope on them because a single Brave chain with 1 Arts card can usually take them into the 90% range on NP charge, then just let them eat a hit or two to finish the charge.
My usual comp now for 40/20 AP is 70 Altera with Sakura, 50 Herc with a limit-broken Azure Black Keys, and someone's Vlad or Lancelot as Support. (Note to Mupod: Please change your Vlad from Formal Craft to a CE that gives NP charge at start. Thanks!) I can get the 40/20 AP down to 6-7 turns if I clear at least one round with an NP, others can do better if they have better Servants and CE's than I do. I have also tried running with Altera/Herc/Altera(Support) and the number of turns to clear is similar (6-7) and generally safer if RNGesus likes to make your Berserkers eat the dirt a lot, the second Altera does less damage per turn but you then can clear both the 2nd and 3rd rounds with NP's, while purposely stalling the first round a bit to charge both Alteras' NP's.
- Status
