The worst thing about this email scandal is it won't end after the election. It's going to hover over Clinton like a boring ghost her entire administration. And beyond.

So how does this impact the race? Arizona and ohio seem to have gone to trump even before this. Florida, iowa and north carolina are close enough to get flipped..

That would still leave her with a lead as long as she can win pensylvania though right?

They barely found any classified info as it was, and considering the arguments between departments, of which we will never know what really should have been classified....

He literally doesn't know how those emails may or may not be relevant to anything in the investigation. There's no connection to Hillary Clinton besides Abedin -> Clinton, and there's no connection to the server besides Abedin -> Clinton -> Server.

We're back to "Comey must have secret, additional information that lets him know why the evidence is significant, despite his own admission that the opposite is true!"

At some point an agency needs to be called out for the monolith that it is. Look at local police. They do some good stuff, sure, but it doesn't make up for the criminality in their ranks that the so called good cops turn a blind eye to. I might have been over generalizing, but I don't think that I stated anything absurd or overly egregious either. Also, me not hearing about some bullshit the government is doing doesn't mean anything when they classify almost everything.

Even at her lowest point, Trump's path was incredibly narrow, and we don't know how this will effect anything, but millions of people have already voted, and most are locked in on their choice. It could effect the down-ballot but again, we don't actually know.

I know you want to keep being vague as you can be to keep spreading bullshit but the fact is the e-mails were NOT deleted by Hilary's staff.

more choice is a good thing, and i personally always look at all candidates. i know quite a bit about gary johnson and jill stein after researching them earlier in the year and throughout the election process. they are both fucking terrible. change for the sake of change, and nothing more, isn't smart
 
Comey doesn't have evidence of anything. He didn't have evidence when he felt compelled to go on national TV and blast a presidential candidate anyways, he doesn't have evidence for this deplorable stunt 11 days from the election. Both of these things are unprecedented in an FBI director, and neither of them were necessary in any way. He decided to be editorialize for no fucking reason, and decided to be vague as hell in this instance too.

For some politicians, this would matter a lot, but not for Clinton. If it wasn't this, Republicans would have hung Benghazi over her, or Vince Foster, or Whitewater, or another made up scandal. It'd have only been a choice of poisons, and the emails are relatively harmless because only anti-Clinton folks care about them to begin with.

And I also don't buy for a second that he was simply ignorant of the possibility that this would be blown way out of proportion by rats like Chaffetz who are more than willing to spread bullshit to support their witch hunt

The FBI Report (on page 12) makes clear Clinton never used any electronic devices in Sensitive Compartments Information Facilities (SCIF.) Clinton also had an SCIF area in her residences in Washington and in New York. it is clear that Clinton never intended and in fact, never did, expose properly marked and identified classified information to nonsecure mediums.

Are you arguing that Clinton copied information from the classified system, and stripped the confidential headers? You are the one who needs to provide evidence for such a claim.

How did she do her job if she did not use a classified system for classified information? Email was obviously not the vector used for that. So unless she never communicated with other people, or never dealt with classified information, she used a separate system.

The odds of all those states flipping in 10 days over this is extremely slim, I would say. She has a decent lead in Florida and NC to were I don't think there's a lot of worry. Arizona is still up in the air, at worst this news might tip it back to red by the election, but there's still a chance there it'll go blue. Ohio has been back and forth, so it's hard to say. I don't remember what Iowa is like off the top of my head.

Exactly. He knows how thirsty people are to make Clinton's email "scandal" a thing. He didn't need to make any kind of grand proclamation on a televised stage like last time, all he needed was to slip out a letter and the circus would take care of the rest.

On October 26 Kim tweeted out instructions for how Congress could legally access the NSA spycloud where all 33000 of Hilary's emails are supposedly being held.

Many believe that Kim has already given copies of these emails to WikiLeaks. So the theory is that the FBI thing today is because they KNOW the emails are about to drop and they would prefer it be the FBI that "finds" them.

The Kim stuff I thought was crackpot conspiracy stuff. Until the FBI thing happened today.

1. why would they need to "give" those copies to wikileaks? why not just release them?

2. if they already gave them to wikileaks, why would wikileaks not release them already?
