FBI reviewing emails found on devices used by Weiner/Abedin

The continued obsession with the e-mails is a disturbing reminder to any minority in the country of the priorities of the white population. Imagine if this much fervor, dedication, and exhaustive investigation was spent on any of the significantly worse issues plaguing minorities on a daily basis.

Seriously, mate?

It wouldn't be any crazier than this election has already gotten.

If WikiLeaks really does have the 33,000 emails ... then this FBI thing makes a lot of sense.

God these email threads bring out the worst between the chicken littles then the totally misinformed people who are outraged about something they clearly know dick all about to the full out conspiracy nuts.

Thank you for your contribution!!! Can we get a mod on the latest shitposter please?

Yeah, brought him up earlier in the thread and I'm curious to see if anything comes of it. He's got an axe to grind and has been teasing about the email leak happening on Hillary's birthday since July 25th.

Her birthday already passed

On October 26 Kim tweeted out instructions for how Congress could legally access the NSA spycloud where all 33000 of Hilary's emails are supposedly being held.

Many believe that Kim has already given copies of these emails to WikiLeaks. So the theory is that the FBI thing today is because they KNOW the emails are about to drop and they would prefer it be the FBI that "finds" them.

The Kim stuff I thought was crackpot conspiracy stuff. Until the FBI thing happened today.

So what you're saying is...there's something going on?

Lol.

That's just false equivalence at play though, man. The only craziness in this election has been the orange rapist the GOP nominated for their candidate, you can't assume something equally crazy will happen from the other camp just because their house is in total chaos.

you sound very hopeful about it!

but just WHAT IF! What if it's all true! the 33,000 emails... who knows WHAT could be in there!!!!

This isn't a valid reason to believe in conspiracies.

And no it doesn't. Why would the FBI give a shit?

Either he made good on his claim considering that two days later the email scandal is all anyone is talking about or this is some crazy coincidence.
it's not a coincidence because it's not her birthday and every day is some new bullshit about her e-mails.

Struck a nerve, eh? I tend to do that when I point out reality in these threads I've found. Guess reality is hard for those just asking questions?
you're no better than anyone else here, take a seat my dude.

People that follow a lot of right-wing sites sure do love Conspiracy Theories, it's like Clockwork.
*dead*

If the 33000 emails contain classified information like the theory suggests, wouldn't it be really bad if Wikileaks released them? Like you're all upset that Clinton handled classified material carelessly, but simultaneously want Wikileaks to release them. Doesn't make sense.

its like a modern day mayan calendar. it's definitely going to happen this day for sure... but if it doesn't it's going to probably be around that time! can't be a coincidence!

Plus, if foreign entities are mining the NSA for emails, all classified info is leaked out anyway.

Kim fucking Dotcom is considered as a trustfully source? Seriously? Bwuhahahhaahhahahahhahahhahaahha

Now we've all turned fully nuts here

Shop making sense. This has nothing to do with protecting state secrets or patriotism. It's all about trying to defeat a candidate who's better than the other, at all costs. Trump is probably guilty of anything that could be possibly in Hillarys emails.

Pay to play? Check
Possible connections to foreign governments? Check
Using a charity foundation for personal gain? Check

This is the whitewater shit all over again.

WikiLeaks has been a cavalcade of alt-right blueballs this entire election. They've had nothing of note each and every time. The idea that they've been just happily sitting on 33,000 emails waiting for "just the right time" to dump them is beyond nonsense. Not just because time and time again WikiLeaks has shown they actually have nothing, but mostly because "just the right time" was MONTHS ago. 11 days off from an election will do nothing.

You would do better than to listen to a egomaniac who pretends that the shutdown of his content infringement platform was the sole reason for the re-election of our current president, and one who links to people like Rush motherfucking Limbaugh.

Why would he make a claim to do something on her birthday then do it two days later? Element or surprise?

Because Hillary knows now he has/had the emails. And he was telling her on her birthday what's about to go down.

Let's not forget the raid on Kim's house, authorized by Hillary, was on HIS birthday.

I mean, nothing I said there implied I was. But I will sit a little farther away from the conspiracy theorists though, if that's cool
Well yeah, i'll give you that.

Because Hillary knows now he has/had the emails. And he was telling her on her birthday what's about to go down.

You assume she gives a shit.

It's not her birthday and again, there is an e-mail scandal every 4 hours on Fox News.

You realize that what the FBI is investigating has nothing to do with Hillary's e-mails, right?

Like, even if what you're saying is true, the FBI wouldn't save any face despite their actions here because what Kim Dotcom is saying and what the FBI is investigating are two completely separate cases.

Or... Stop being a douchebag, and shit may actually be how reality is.

Having spent most of my life working in large corporations, I can honestly say that I have zero faith in the ability of humans to coordinate en-masse with enough efficacy to pull of even the simpler theories that get peddled by the Infowars crowd.

Jesus, man.

The world does not revolve around fucking Kim Dotcom. He's just an egotistical liar who's still salty that his shitty site got shut down.

Have you ever been part of a reply-all snafu while working for an IT company? It's kind of incredible.

He never said he had the emails... He said he had a theory on how to obtain them from NSA. This doesn't seem related to that at all, since the emails are from Weiner's laptop, not NSA servers.

So the theory is that the FBI thing today is because they KNOW the emails are about to drop and they would prefer it be the FBI that "finds" them.

This is, like, Ocelot tricking a computer into thinking he's possessed by a ghost level nonsense.

If the FBI had the deleted emails they'd say they have them instead of releasing this half-hearted bullshit.

I live in NZ and we've been stuck with Kim.com for the last few years, he tried starting his own party called the Internet Party and ran ads that mocked World Vision commercials and likened our shity Internet speeds to third world poverty. Let's just say I don't trust anything he says

This proves.... nothing?

Friend, I have created more than one. I am not a smart man.
Yet there some who expect old people to understand how e-mail works, regardless of training. It's delusional.

The extent to which this is a scandal, or being discussed extensively, seriously depend on what your news sources are.

Sadly not. Yesterday evening one of Germany's public tv stations (so a respected outlet here) ran a special report on the "update in the Clinton email affair and the consequences for the election".

I sighed and turned the tv off.
