Is that the Japanese version of Power Move Pro Wrestling? That game was awesome for the time.
I still have this small sliver of hope that they switch to the Eco-Motion engine but that's probably going to be unlikely. Basically because of two reason:
1. They probably can't do it in a year.
2. The documentation of the engine would probably need to be translated for the guys in Japan.

For starters, how about actually scanning the roster's faces this year. I mean I know RIck Rude is no longer among us, but that doesn't mean you have to half-ass everything else. i swear I saw video where Yoshi Tatsu visited the Yuke's offices and you see the devs literally molding the faces and referencing them only through pictures rather than scanning them. I mean godamn, you guys are getting a new TV deal, USE DAT PAPER.

Power Move Pro Wrestling completely blew my GODDAMN mind when I was a kid. I couldn't believe a game that advanced was available in 1996. It made the WWF Mortal Kombat rip-offs look completely stupid.
I was so into it, I was researching ways how to mod my PS1 to play Japanese games so I could play the Toukon Retsuden games. I was so hyped when I heard THQ was making a game called "WCW vs. nWo: Live" for the PS1 that used the Toukon Retsuden engine. Then it got cancelled

After watching this UFC EA video, it just makes the WWE games look like fucking clown shoes.

In comparison this is what EA Sports use to capture the faces for FIFA.
I wouldn't mind a wrestling game that throws out the 'simulation' idea and goes for more over the top shit.
-Hogan has two health bars, one for pre-hulk up and post-hulk up.
-Undertaker takes double damage if you attack Paul Bearer/The Urn
-Ric Flair becomes stronger the more he bleeds
-Cena's stats will buff/debuff depending on quality of opponent
-Goldberg takes reduced damage for first 2 minutes of fight
-HBK's sweet chin music does more damage the more HBK himself is beat up
-People's elbow damage is proportionate to size of the venue

Visually I'd want it to look like a wrestling sim, but the actual mechanics are completely goofy as fuck. Also, in my theoretical game, don't give a shit about making things "balanced". In no real world realm would someone like Sin Cara stand a chance against 80s Hogan.

Botch Mode: Every opponents stats are reduced by 15% while Sin Cara is present in ring.
Sin Cara has 75% luck and his Botch AoE can cause other wrestlers to botch.
On the same topic, the scans for NBA 2K14 (PS4/XB1 version) are absolutely insane. They players look absolutely lifelike, and that's said with no hint of hyperbole. Just an intense amount of detail. It makes any players that they weren't able to scan look jarring in comparison.
If Visual Concepts somehow got a hold of the development for WWE games, god damn. Their new lighting and designs for the arenas is also top notch. It would be perfect.
