So is Bryan going to stay with the WWE? Does the contract they have him locked in say he can't go anywhere else for non wrestling too? Like could he appear in ROH as a guest of honor or something? If he wants to become a WWE agent or something does he have to sign a new deal since his current one is for wrestling?

He could appear anywhere tomorrow if he really wanted to, since he is class as a independent contractor there is very little wwe can do.

You mean the guy Vince wants to call the pitbull

Or give Nakamura a name like Johnny Chang

It is pretty sad how a running joke has turned into something that some people are so nasty and bitter about.
Nobody knows what will happen with Nakamura.
They spent alot of money on him, they let Joe keep his name and AJ.
Joe could have easily been called Famu or something.
Seriously, some people are so nasty about this shit yet week after week they come back just to shit on it some more.

When my wife met me in 2000 I was about 2 weeks out from WWA4 down south. I was wrestling at the time for CPW. I stayed for her. I left wrestling and everything. I was in martial arts, wrestling and just after adventure...I left it for her. I moved on and spent a decade and a half finding a way for us to make it together.

She doesn't know wrestling, and she doesn't watch. She doesn't hate or resent it, just not her thing. Except Daniel Bryan's story and the "Yes Movement". He is someone who genuinely reached her interest. She watched this with me tonight and we were both in tears.

The world loves you Daniel Bryan. We miss you already.

I'm not mad that they told him to stop wrestling because I've seen too much death in wrestling but I'm made at how they chew and spit out a once in a generation talent in a scripted sport where they control everything.

Bryan could have launched wrestling forward where we aren't talking about record low ratings every week.

But the company was held back by their own prejudice backed by no logic.

He has some kind of contract with the WWE preventing him from wrestling anywhere else that they won't let him out of. I am wondering if this applies to doing non wrestling things for other wrestling promotions.

The meta-story of WWE keeping Bryan on the sidelines with phony medical diagnoses to protect their handpicked stars is dead. If he weren't retired, there'd be glimmers of hope that he could rise up and defeat the heel authority and get back to active wrestling.
well im sure there will be another indy darling for wrestling fans to create a non existent narrative around and cling to sooner or later

maybe vince hates Nak? tune in next week.

Some people here need to read The Secret, imo.

As a wise man once said...
"Vince McMahon is going to make money despite himself. He’s a millionaire who should be a billionaire. You know why he’s not a billionaire? Because he surrounds himself with glad-handed, non-sensical, douchebag yes men, like John Laurinaitis, who’s going to tell him everything he wants to hear, and I’d like to think that maybe this company will better after Vince McMahon is dead. But the fact is, it’s going to be taken over by his idiotic daughter and his doofus son-in-law and the rest of his stupid family." - CM Punk, 2011

That non compete clause is compete bs, if Bryan really want to he come wrestle in ROH tomorrow and wwe wouldn't do shit. All depned if he want to say on wwe goo side.

Bryan is hopefully too smart to do something stupid like go anywhere else, even if stupid assed so called fans seem to want it and want him to cripple himself in the ring so they can have their fix.
He has a family, he has a wife.
His wife has a career with the WWE as does her sister.
Even while injured she will have Total Divas and the brand.
WWE will give him a gig as either a scout or a trainer or something and he will be taken care of.
Throwing that away and risking his wife's career and her sister's is asinine, not to mention he could easily end up in a situation where he will not have the WWE's doctors to help him with.

A lot of wrestling fans wallowing in their own pessimism from week-to-week and getting patted on the back by their fellow hate watchers. Just have to zone it out, uce.

Purported all time great (lmao) CM Punk's biggest legacy in pro wrestling is a misused quote from a fat dude's podcast.

It's ridiculous...folks will find any way to shit on the dude. Daniel Bryan just gave a heartfelt speech and it's already back to "make roman look strong".

I wonder if people saw that video of Bayley doing Finn's entrance? I mean, our favorite wrestler is gone now, and he is one of a kind but there's still so many passionate performers you can cheer for, right now and in the future.

Seth Rollins is the only one who can be the "next Bryan"
But the WWE writers are awful

I not counting Balor, he probably going to be another jobber for Reigns

Actual statistics disagree with you. But yes, if only Vince would put Punk vs. Bryan in 60 Minute Iron Man matches, it'd be a new boom period!

Bryan and Punk were great wrestlers and over to the current audience. But, they were never going to draw back in the people who went to wrestling because people went through tables, girls wrestled around in lingerie, and the top babyface regularly swore and beat up women while the other top face made gay jokes.

One might argue, not saying it's correct, but he was probably one of the leading factors of what led the NXT 5 to get signed.

To make Roman look strong

bayley and zayn seem like the type of people who can maaaybe generate that cult following.
