While I'm known for booking, this time ; I'm serious.

So I just got out of the doctors office.

Well, I'm gonna have to learn how to walk all over again after my surgery.

Just think of the time you'll have to make gloriously long post-chains.

Hope everything goes as well as it can for you

Man’s entire political worldview shaped by foreign wrestling heels
February 8, 2016

Though he claims to be “well versed” in matters of politics, 34-year-old Mike Russell of Atlanta possesses a geopolitical understanding that is based entirely on the dastardly deeds of foreign heel wrestlers.

While discussing politics with friends recently, Russell said he “can’t wait to see Donald Trump shave Obama’s head,” alluding to the time Trump won the right at shave WWE mogul Vince McMahon’s head at WrestleMania 23.

Among Russell’s other erroneous political beliefs:

All Iranians wear curly-toed boots
The Middle East has been peaceful ever since Muhammad Hassan was captured
Bulgaria and Russia are basically the same place
All Samoans are related to The Rock
Mexico, Ireland, England and Bulgaria are strong international allies who form a “league of nations”
All people from Uganda slap their painted bellies

Russell claims to be a history buff and a patriot, and says he strives to emulate the greatest American president, Jack Tunney.

Okay, I'm following Rusev on Twitter now. He's going all-out on the fan interaction tonight.

Bryan just said he has a legion on the part of his brain that causes seizures and he has had seizures after concussions before that he hid.

Wow.

Glad to hear that he's being so candid... although it makes one wonder just what other wrestlers are hiding so they can preserve their livelihood.

How did those previous doctors miss that?
I imagine they ran different tests and had access to different data than the New York tests provided.
Hell, I imagine Maroon didn't even know this stuff.
If nothing else, this should sign a big spotlight on the rudimentary concussion tests that are being run in wrestling, MMA, football and other contact sports as being inadequate.

Yeah, tbh fuck anybody here who's still on the side of WWE and Maroon being the "bad guys" in this situation. Holy shit, that's awful.

Glad we got the happy ending here, because like I said for months, shit could have easily gotten so much worse with even one more match

All I can think of is that I wish Bret Hart had doctors that had gone to bat for him back in the day.

How the fuck was Bryan considering coming back when he was seizing and shit? Was that really not enough to get him to hang up his boots until he saw the brain scans? I don't think Corey Graves got anywhere near that far into his career before concussions blew it up.

And yet, I doubt the indies give a fuck and still plan to sell themselves on insane flippy spotfests and unprotected head shots.

Graves didn't have the ability to draw outside of the WWE and he has kids.

Bryan could probably work indies and TNA if he was released.

Damn, that's horrible. Glad the guy is retiring. Also can we get a test done to Golddust? He's been stuttering alot lately.

if they did that test to all wrestlers the WWE would probably have to fold. Imagine if they had to book matches where there were zero spots that could lead to concussions or head injuries. Every match would be Stroman vs Big Show.

You joke but the problem with the WWE right now is they are still selective on who they test and clear.

They had Tommy Dreamer and Vince bumping in the ring on 2016.

They need to test everyone but the problem is they still will protect their guys like with Orton's wellness violation and Bart Gun not getting tested for PEDs despite working matches.

Sounds like Vince's dream show.

Maybe he can bring Rich Piana in to beat them.

Now I'm confused because this totally seems to be SmackDown

Meltzer's gone on record expecting them to debut on the main roster prior to Mania. This fits that timetable.
Even if tonight is a dark match, I would not be surprised to see them debut right after Fastlane.
Tyler Breeze debuted on Smackdown, did he not?

This is ENTIRELY the issue. Selective testing.
It's entirely politically motivated.
And I doubt anyone on the roster outside of Bryan has taken the test that scared him out of the sport he loves for good. That's a serious problem.

They should give the test to the new japan or bjw roster for shits and giggles.

If they tested the wrestlers like they did Bryan, 2/3rd's or more would fail. Hitting the ground and wood planks repeatedly over and over isn't good for your body.

If Bryan was Vinces prototipcal draw would he be tested the same way? Especially after they clearly wanted Roman over him?

I mean the lawsuit and punk played a deal in this but the company doesnt have the best footing to stand on when they said before they were testing for steroids and they weren't.

Plus if they really cared about their talent they wouldn't have them wrestle 4 to 5 days a week.

Guys should be limited to 2 matches a week with selective times of the year off but that requires planning shit out at least 6 months and the last time Vince planned that long term for all of the talent was before Raw was on tv
.

No way, fuck Vince, fuck the WWE. They were keeping him back. He was cleared man. Never watching Raw and stuff. Deleted dvr...stuff man.

Just might be time to call the doctors that cleared him into question, brehs.

This.
But doesn't that happen alot in sports where if you look around you can pretty much find a doctor to give the results you want to have?

Then they need to either have a constant stream of guys coming in replacing talent or rethink the schedule or spots.

I mean every time somebody has an injury they immediately seek to use it in a match to get heat on it.

I mean how much do you think Vince wanted Bray to come out and attack Bryan so he had some heat?
