Can anyone tell me if the PC version is the "next-Gen" version, or the same as the 360/PS3 version?

Would FIFA be a good starting point for someone that wants to get into soccer, but isn't very familiar with the rules and strategy?
This is my Ultimate Team.
Legit built. Did not buy shit using real money.
Why is Willians from Chelsea so fucking expensive?
Any tips for a complete noob? I'm about 30 minutes into my first ever Fifa play session (PS4) and I'm a little overwhelmed.
I've done a few of the skill challenges and that has helped a little. Anything else I can do help to get the hang of this, or should I basically just play a bunch of matches on amateur until I get comfortable?
Madden and NBA2k seem like they have less learning curves by far.
Edit: Not bashing the game at all.. seems like this will be really fun once I get the hang of it. I just feel like I'm running around like a 5 year old out there passing to defenders.

Andy Carroll. Faster, taller, better in the air and cheaper.
OMFG is there any game cheaper than Be-a-Pro (now called career mode) fifa? Does EA really call that A.I.?
Anyone want to add me for online friendlies on PS4? PSN: PXLIV
Sorry, I couldn't find a PS4 equiv. of this thread.
Can someone tell me which club this is?
Is it possible to play 2 vs 2 online in FIFA 14? (PS4 version btw)
Decided to pick up this game for PS4, needed more games and I've always heard great things about FIFA. I'm not much of a soccer/football enthusiast, I do tend to watch the world cup every 4 years, but that's about it. In general, I do like the sport.
Started up the game today and it throws me right into a match of Barcelona v. Real Madrid. I said screw it, I'll give it a go. Lost 6-0, but I was laughing the whole time with my lack of knowledge and ability. After that trouncing, I decided to play a friendly with a 5 star team versus a 1.5 star team on amateur and all assists on. I picked Man United, since I'm a Bucs fan and they are owned by the same family. I played some Polish team. I lost 1-0, they only scored on a penalty kick, so I don't think I did too bad considering I'm rubbish. I had plenty of scoring opportunities, but it took me a while to figure out to hold down the shoot button longer for more power, then I started clearing the cross bar every time.
All in all, I like the game and I'm hooked. I have a long way to go and lots to learn. So, I ask GAF, where do I start to get better at this game? Is there a good guide out there for newbies? All I could find is a pish posh of different opinions, most of them just short message board posts with no real structure on what to do.
Good team. Look out for Deulofeu, he's pretty cheap but has good stats.
