Kim Wu sure has a lot of stuff going on

Every KI3 character has ten million things going on, on top of the combo system.

I almost wish it was a footsies and single hits based SF style, using all these character tools for getting in and landing individual moves, rather than all of that + the combo system and the breakers (knowing every animation) and stuff. KI is way intimidating to get into, I paid hundreds of dollars on it and absolutely don't want to commit to playing it because it's super hard for me to get into (remembering everything).
 
This I can definitely agree with and I'm one of the guys that like SF4. Their is just a lot more shit to look out for in SF4. More annoying normals, specials, and characters. I find plenty of stuff annoying in SFV, just no where near the level of SF4 with Fuerte, Viper, full screen anti-fireball moves, safe on block specials that can leave you in 50/50 situations, focus attack, wonky hit box's, safe reversals, etc.

I've lost quite a bit today and yesterday(win rate probably just around 60%) so I've gotten pretty damn salty. But no where near the rage inducing feelings I've had in SF4.
Lol me too. SF4 made me destroy a controller in rage once. But in general I used to have bad rage when playing games but I've learned to control that now. In SFV I haven't yet had those really salty moments, because there isn't as much bullshit like counter-hit focus into ultra, mashed dps in block strings because crush counters deal with someone who does that, no dumb back dashes (fuck you Rose), etc.

Kim Wu can't be fantasy based due to the story change of no time travel

You'll see the same thing happen with tusk most likely.... i expect the original characters to be top notch though as they don't have to fight their creativity trying to put old movesets in or whatever

On glacius... he can hold up to 3 hail (one for each strength) and his instinct is absolutely insane... his liquidise move travels like the old puddle punch and it's going to mixup city with him
 
I think only Amazon Prime and Best Buy's GCU would offer a discount. If you mean PC GMG had it for 25% off though I'm not sure if the offer is still available.
Use Amazon Prime. Games now have a huge discount on release day there now.

Don't have Amazon Prime? Wire a friend with Prime the money to pre order SFV and then have them ship it to your house. That's what I'm doing.

IG have always made substantial improvements to characters at launch versus initial reveal. I feel pretty confident they'll continue that trend. If she were to stay in her current state though I would be pretty disappointed.

Not that it will completely alleviate all the complexity, but iirc every character has reeling animations specifically for being hit by a light, medium, or heavy attack. So, in unfamiliar situations you can watch your own character to see what to break. Still are situations where knowing the other move is valuable as always.

KOF is ugly in the way it looks like they hired 3D artists from Japan's porn game industry.

Well there is a higher percentage of higher up female art designers in Asia and they do spend a ungodly amount of hours on design.

Probably something to that Japan works more on looking good than the west would prioritize. That or the arts pool in games is not very diverse in art.

I don't remember a good Bioware face. They made Yvonne Strahovski look weird. In DAI, everyone seemed really greasy for some reason. It's hard playing a Bethesda or Bioware game, you basically have to wait till mods come out to make a decent face. Also asian faces are never good in these games.

Orchid and the Spider Girl were made by the previous develop team. Maya was made by Iron Galaxy so that would be the only comparison you could make really.
