I really missed when political discussions in the site were like a salad bowl. You had centrists like speculawyer, hard leftists like empty vessel, and center right posters like Toxic Adam. They weren't perfect, but they always presented interesting view points and discussions. Sure you occasionally got crap posters like fortified_concept and Jaydubya, but they were more amusing than anything.

Unfortunately all of those posters have been permabanned, besides empty vessel who jumped ship because he got sick of this site. Today discussions are populated by pro-Hillary supporters who believe that the Democratic establishment can't do no wrong and all of the party's faults are due to rednecks and radical college kids, and apparently Hillary Clinton is some sort of Black Messiah. And the other side being Sanders supporters who cling on to him like he is a Superman. I find the former a bit more annoying being that they often have the moderators behind them who in no way, shape, or form hide their bias. It's sad because the posters of yesteryears would have, and at many times used to, body these posters bullshit hard. But all of the socialists and centrists are gone from the site.

I feel the breaking point for me was either that thread about how Bernie Sanders is a coward because he won't say "yes" to reparations (despite Hillary Clinton, Obama, and like everyone else either saying "no" or won't comment about it), and that anyone who disproves of full on reparations is a racist. Or that people who didn't agree that that one Black Student Union meeting (or whatever it was) banning white people from showing up wasn't a sign of progressive politics (because the only white people who go to these events are racist trolls <---this was LITERALLY the argument people were using) then you are a racist. Even the minorities in these threads that were arguing other wise were called "uneducated" and racist. It was sometime around then that I said "fuck it."

Sorry for the off-topic rant, just needed to vent. This would be my last post on the subject.

So anyway, King of Fighters 2002 is fun.

People say this a lot, but side by side videos of XIV show that the game speed is almost frame by frame that of KoFXIII, wouldn't be surprised if they referred to XIII's framedata for most of the returning cast moves and system mechanics.

So that tournament ZTS won for Tekken 7 was actually part of some sort of qualifyer invitational tournament at the end of the year.

Sounds like Namco-Bandai tournament. The avoiding the puddle guys also mentioned North West Majors.

Apparently the rules states that if you win one of these T7 qualifiers, you are not allowed to enter again because that would mess up seeding for the invitational. Unless you give up your spot in the invitational.

Basically more or less XIII animation speed with the general pace of 2002/98 due to better hitboxes on normals and far normals being back in the game. Pushback seems a bit more like the older games too.

Nice, congrats and good luck in the finals. From what they said in ATP Live, you can't enter any more T7 tournaments that have qualifying spots unless you forfeit yours, is that right? Kind of a brutal way to prevent gate-keeping, and can't imagine it applying to bigger tournaments like EVO and what not!

I didn't pay any attention to who the guy was. But when I went back and watched it again today I thought the name seemed kind of familiar. So I went back and looked at matches that I've uploaded in the past. And I come across a old match that I uploaded 5 years ago during the SSF4 AE era.
