Juri and Ibuki are the only things keeping me vaguely interested in SF5 right now.

Don't like half the Killer Instinct cast stab someone with a sharp metal/solid object but they still gave it a T rating? Also, blood gushes everywhere.
ESRB is also bizarre in that they put much more stock on sexual stuff when raising ratings.

I think you can stab and slice all you want as long as it doesn't show full impalement. Adam Isgreen touched on it in one of the Twitch chats I was in. It was pretty strange what they do and don't let them do to keep the T rating.
Capcom couldn't keep T rating because the jiggle was too realistic.
(I honestly have no idea, they may have even been able to keep it in and still keep a T rating.)
It's not like it will be missed, over sexualization gets a little too rampant at times but it's hilarious they chose to plant their flag on that one instead of the countless other examples in the game.

Duo Lon. And yeah he was always a solid good character and fun to watch with all his crazy stretching and morphing animations. His stance was waaaaaaay dumber. Between him using a noxious gas cloud and the way he posed before and after the attack I dubbed both the move as well as his stance "the stanky leg".
If they include the color editer option again like last time you will likely see a skin alt for many things.
Skin works both ways though. Remember Raiden?

Im betting its improved. They took it REALLY seriously when they PC ported and their was a lot of back and forth with players. Juicebox and several others were playing and streaming and a lot of different back and forth builds happened. It never was perfect, but it showed a lot of effort and they've only had time to improve since then. Plus more and more folks are popping up with stuff these days. Melty Blood is even using a modder to help replace their netcode with his superior rollback code from the online scene. It'd be neat if they had consulted some specialists out there for either contract work on the subject or for general consulting and trouble shooting. Hell...KI nabbed Mike Z.
Fingers crossed on netcode. Its a different environment than back in KOF xiii on console so maybe theirs hope of better talent at it or more skills having been learned to develop it. Only certain thing is they've shown support for this feature being improved upon and listened to feedback before about it even if they fell short last time.

Not sure to be honest, could mean close ups only. I think Fulgore got a pass because he had "energy blades." Doesn't explain why his other blade accessories got a pass.

No contest. It was the only fighting games to pull me away from daily SF. There was a point in time where I even thought Tekken would pave the way for a 3D only fighting game future (young and naive, glad that didn't pan out.)
Game looks gorgeous, something it used to be known for. Game play looks really solid and the characters are interesting. The biggest gripe (same character designs) has been addressed so I'm completely on board. Never was a huge fan of the tag games.

Agreed, I'm already kind of bored with SF V already, it's not fun to grind online IMO. Feels more like work. It would help if matches loaded quicker.
But yeah I think once T7 comes out I won't be playing other fighters for quite some time.

I wish I had a physical copy of SFV so I could throw it in the trash. Still like watching it though.
T7 was already the best looking fighting game, and they took up another few notches with FR. It's good that they've been taking the game around to events because the wait for console is a long one.
I just hope there's a PC version because it's time for 3D fighters to make a comeback.
