Enjoying learning skullgirls a lot which is weird because I've been pretty confident that the game was ass for the last 3 years. Combos still can be pretty long which is kinda a bummer cuz the neutral is so cool but it's no big deal and nowhere near the movie length shit I associated with the game.
The only ones I'm sure will qualify are JWong and Nuckledu. They are traveling a lot. If Smug starts to travel more, he'll as well. The others....Dieminion maybe...I don't think Ricky will qualify this year

More can definitely qualify, but it's going to depend if they can take turns winning ranking events because I doubt internationals will be attending those, at least not in droves. The Premier events will be chock full of internationals and it's going to be hard to finish 2-4 which are the only positions handing out a good amount of points without actually winning. Their are only 5 left though so if Justin gets greedy he could win them all and gatekeep the rest of America lol.

Since there aren't as many ranked events as before, making top 4 consistently on those, and top 8 in at least 2 of the premium events is probably good enough (maybe winning one and top 4'ing the rest). Also, Justin and NuckleDu are totally capable of getting top 4 on some European qualifiers, so they need to travel more overseas.
Now that there are a lot of spots for those who don't win the premium events (16 right?), consistency is key
Are we finally eSports? This feels like the 90's again lol, SF might become mainstream and regain its popularity with the folks who aren't that invested into fighting games.
Bison is gonna probably be shown in the trailer talking to his henchman, Balrog. It would be pretty nice if they actually talked it out with Tyson and finally got Boxer's name changed to M. Bison and change it once and for all.

slightly off topic, does anyone smell BS on Konami and Kojima breaking off and even P.T. getting delayed probably? I call this is PR stunt, bad news is the best news cause everyone pays attention then. Rockstar has done it before and it made the game hit the news, which probably in turn got more people talking about the game and potential buyers. Just my two cents.

Consistency or just one big win, or should I say one big finish. If someone were to finish 2nd or 3rd at EVO for example, they're pretty much in regardless of what else happens. Their just aren't enough points to go around to make the 32nd place finisher have more than 256 points when last year Chris G finished 32nd with 173 and their were a lot more ranking events last year. That's also the main reason why I think winning one ranking event is good enough this year when all is said and done. So even if America can't win a premier event, getting into GF and finishing 2nd might be good enough to get in Capcom Cup.
BTW, that black SFV shirt looks pretty bad ass. I think I might get one after all.

When I'm facing a bad player who constantly mashes buttons in marvel like an idiot on wakeup. I've learned to deal with it and just level up and let them shoot themselves in the foot.
I just find it weird Kojima is actually leaving after MGSV, it just doesn't make sense for Konami to let their bread winner leave like that. Either that or Konami is finally gonna go bankrupt in a couple years from no good games lol
That's why I thought it was weird. Kojima is Konami for crying out loud, Metal Gear is their moneymaker and to have the man that created it just leave it mind boggling. Although, I shouldn't be surprised since Capcom let the head of platinum studios and megaman creator just get frustrated with their mentality and leave.
