Well, Professor Beef, here is the Viewiful Joe thing I was talking about, was able to have all three characters of his opponent all slowed at the same time(Mean he was able to hit each character with the slow hyper)

i'd like to see that just for the salt. at what point do marvel only pros not bother showing up to majors? is 100 entries big enough?
If it's out of the normal range that it would hit (aka you hit their button) it's more than likely buffered.
If it's in range of where it'd normally hit, it's either yolo or they confirmed it.
I saw Xiao Hai confirming cr.mk into spiral arrow during topanga and it was blowing me away. You could tell he was because the delayed cancel of the normal into the move.

It's completely possible. Melee has been getting the most entries for the CEO monthlies I went to. I think they've been around 60 people while SF4 was around 30 or 40. There is a big Smash scene in Florida.

I've seen kbrad cr mk > spiral arrow > get blocked > fadc backwards more than I've seen him successfully do it in blocking range.
Xioa Hai confirming it looked like an actual confirm while every time I see Kbrad do it it's almost immediate.

In any other SF game, you can't hit confirm into super from one hit with 3s ken and chun being the exception. But due to how lenient SF4 is with input and cancels, every one in SF4 hit confirm into super from one hit like 3s ken and chun. It's done by hitting and holding c.mp or c.mk (so you don't negative edge), doing the qcfx2 motion then confirm that it landed follow by either punch or kick to trigger the super.

I don't even think the fact that 5 dudes dominate the game is what's killing it. Melee has been like that for years... the difference is there is ALWAYS new shit being discovered in that game. So the 6th grand finals between Mew2king (Fox) and Hungrybox (Jigglypuff) is somehow different than the 5th.
With Marvel, you already know what's coming when it's PR Rog vs. Chris G in grand finals. Or Flocker vs. Justin. No matter who wins or loses, it just feels boring and samey at this point. Someone like Apology Man going on a run and taking out a god feels so rare.
What I'm trying to say is... Marvel 4 to tie in with Avengers 2 kthx.

Problem is there won't be a Marvel 4.
Marvel will get a rise once it's completely figured out and people have enough time to become proficient with the handful of teams that will dominate. Just like Marvel 2. A few players will run crazy or outdated characters and still do well but the majority will run Zero, Morrigan or Firebrand/Viper teams and somehow it will be the second most popular game at tournaments.
I thought Elena's costume was the only one that I thought wasn't super silly looking.

Haha yeah I think Capcom's involvement with Marvel is pretty much done. We're much more likely to get a Capcom All-Stars game or a new SF game.

I've already on the MOBA train. It's fun, but it's nothing like 1v1 fighters. Nothing can replace that for me. Losing a game because you have 4 idiot teammates is the worst thing in the UNIVERSE!!!

Actually, the worst is the fail carry. Your team has been ganking like crazy, but your carry can't last hit for crap and somehow has nothing going on for the endgame.
