But you can test if your controller is working properly. That's 50% of a button check for me, especially with my shit luck when it comes to neutrik adapters.

I think too many people were complaining that their controllers crapped out on them mid set, so they do "warm ups" now just to make sure everything is working properly.
It's silly but whatever. Melee is a fast game, someone's L button or c stick crapping out mid game is real annoying. I know from experience.
