She wasn't close to the situation dude. Friend or not, she chose to make it physical while the dude was SITTING DOWN. She escalated the situation from trash talk to physical altercation.

She did and she paid the price for that. I'm not defending her at all. I'm just saying there are more wrongful parties to this situation, and that behavior like this in general needs to be checked.

Note how none of those pop-offs were directly insulting. More proof you are clueless when it comes to the problem.

I still remember almost getting jumped because I was making fun of a guy's pop off in a game by talking back at him really high pitched back at him and imitating him when I defended him. Directing celebration and acting a fool has consequences. Funny part was his friends was making fun of him after his epic reception celebration for 5 yards.

You don't touch a dude and glad he didn't hit a girl or anyone.

Apparently somebody close to the situation felt strongly enough about it for that to happen.

That's sorta irrelevant. They are an outsider. Unless the person/people directly involved complains then it's TO and staff responsibility.

When you say slamming chairs do you mean literally or more like violent shaking.

And the last two lead to fines and suspensions (except in the NHL, but any other hockey league it does)

What conversation are you two even having? I'm quite sure suspensions and fines weren't handed out because of the shit talk prior to the altercation but in response to the altercation itself. According to Annel, the female was vaguely reprimanded. The dude did something that is totally passable in any other competitive outlet.

The yelling and screaming in someone else's face?
NBA or NFL he would have been T'ed up or given 15 yards?
Soccer- yellow card

But... the shinblade didn't get in anyone's face...

Getting in someone's face is an altercation. Popping off to the crowd or the heavens isn't.

I really liked the music in the MK kung lao trailer. Sure, it's still got the ambient background motif that they been unfortunately fond of as of late, but it sounds nice.

silent treatment + not even acknowledging the opponent is still among the best pop-offs because they realize they really ain't shit and then THEIR WILL BREAKS

Daigo can get perfected 8 times straight and only slightly scratch his face.

then proceed to win

I would like to see Daigo play some USF4 on PC in the US. See if getting j.HK'd in the face while he's trying to get a DP frustrates him to the point of cracking.

Yeah, the music was dope. I really hope that it's emblematic of the game's OST and not just trailer music, because it'd definitely be an improvement from the subtle and crepuscular ambiance they typically shoot for that works, but is kinda forgettable.

Honestly the issue shouldn't be about shinblade it should be about a player assaulting another player.

This type of environment is toxic to the growth of the scene and needs to be removed immediately.

We can't have random females running around assaulting players everytime one of them shows exuberance.

Focus on the real issue here guys.

I never said she wasn't in the wrong, and like I said it led up to that. 2 players went alone with it, some other people in the room didn't. EVERYBODY was in the wrong. It's not about "omg who is right who is wrong" it's about the fact that it shouldn't have fucking happened and both parties fucked up.

If you must know she wasn't allowed to return to the event.

TOs need to start handing out yellow cards.

YELLOW CARD! Popping off too hard! Ass Wooping was too rough! tone it down!

also, i didn't see the player popping off towards the other guy, more like in a general direction to the crowd. is that not allowed?

i can see how getting in someones face and ear is an issue and should not be tolerated. Im always intolerant of people slamming chairs or standing on them (makes too much noise, potential for damage of equipment) but you can't holler and chest thump, or rush your homies in the crowd?

Maybe some events need to start having celebration rules BEFOREHAND and start issuing the cards

And you know what? I'll be real honest and tell you exactly what would've happened if I had been contacted. I would've stopped the match, asked Shinblade to calm down, and asked the players involved how they felt and wanted to deal with it. Afterwards I'd probably ask Shinblade to tone down the aggression and then let whatever else rock, or DQ him if the other players felt that needed to happen.

But you know, I just hate evrything and I eat players who pop off cause lol sensitive SJW.

The reason I take this so seriously is it didn't happen and it negatively affected a lot of people.
