Some Mexican Trish player discovered it. He posted a Trish infinite video and immediately a red flag was raised by the Marvel community because it cheated the rules of the TAC system that were known until then. Turned out there was an exploit where if you jumped within 3 frames of landing it didn't even count as landing which caused the game to think you are still air borne. The hit stun is ignored after TAC if both players are airborne.

Once the exploit was figured out, the floodgates literally opened. Or the Pandora's Box if you want to call it that.

Supposedly you also have to land an air-to-air attack low to the ground so the move animation is still going when you land and rejump.
