The thing about MK9 is that the people who hate on it hate MK games in general. If you like MK games, MK9 was a return to form. On the other hand, if you like Capcom games, SFxT is trash. Plus you get every bitter anime game fan who has a grudge against Capcom for stealing the attention away from their games going in on it with utter glee.

Bad game + worse spectator experience + cheated consumers = gigantic frustration, especially after the way SFIV and MvC3 have been handled in the past year. Every moment SFxT is on screen is also time that another game isn't.

I love what they're doing with EVO in terms of expanding it. All logical steps IMO. This includes making stream chat PPV only too. Who wants to look at a stream chat with 100k people in it anyways, especially when we have a GAF thread!

Yes, the beacon event for the community that almost boasts about coming from extreme poverty charging $12 for this is perfect.
 
All this TAC stuff should have been saved until a few days before evo, now EVERYONE will try and download this. I really hope there is still some new tech surprises at EVO!
 
I'm in the camp where I'm not happy about this coming out right before Evo, last thing I want to see is this stuff happening on stream and completely throwing things off for people right before the biggest tournament of hte year. It's amusing and normally I wouldn't mind, but not right now :(

No way, this is the perfect time. People will pick it up, but they won't do it well, which means crazy drops/resets and hype. It might

That Madcatz artwork for FS/P4 are the first ones I've liked. I've always liked the stick quality, but never the artwork- those are classy not tacky.

Damn it MarkMan, I wanted a excuse to buy the VS stick. But it looks like I won't have one now. A fight stick pro it is then, but I will tell you right now that I'm not too thrilled about it :|
 
Archives are up in the air atm according to Mr.Wizard on stream chat. They are still deciding on what to do with it.

How is VF going to be streamed at Evo if it isn't part of the official streams? Will there be a side stream? Heard something about Spooky possibly doing it, but that isn't confirmed.

That sucks, balls. Hopefully he gets to make it out next year. I was born and raised in the states, but I always get happy when I see some South and Central American representation. Besides, Argentinos son mis hermanos. I assume he was going to enter KOF?

And yeah, I was really surprised when I kept seeing the Chilean flag so much when I was going through the brackets. I wish the internet wasn't so ass down there so we could get more streams. Spanish fighting game commentary > * (except Nuki)
