While she is one of my fav. characters from the series, StarLord was a friggin' boss, he didn't even need cosmic powers to take down alien monstrosities.

2) Linking some Firebrand combos into his level 3 and continuing with fireball inputs between him and the helper. It never seemed to do him any good, but I wonder what he's up to with that thought process.

Is that a loop or something? He went for it quite a bit, seemed like something he has practiced in the lab but wasn't getting it enough.

I'm not sure, it's the first time I've seen it. The only level 3 loop I know of is the dive kick one. It seems hard to justify regardless, because if even looping Firebrand's dive kick into the level 3's swoop barely breaks 600K, how could this other setup justify 3 bars mid-combo? Looks like we'll have to be patient and see.

Zak also doesn't just use stalking Flare for the unblockable, he uses Dorms meteors and calls ammy so he can have enough time to hard tag in firebrand and finish the setup.

Perhaps what you say is true, since Fapnatiq was saying he was going to lose the first sets to "gimmicks". I think they were being genuine though.

I know, I watched the sets. He only had the setup when he DHCed in Stalker Flare for the incoming mixup.
 
If anyone is still looking for a hotel room for EVO, I've got one spot left to give. This was going to be reserved for Roachking if he needed it, but it doesn't look like he's gonna make it out to Vegas now. :(

Anyway, details:

- "classic room" at the Imperial Palace (across the street from Caesars, where EVO is being held)
- 2 double beds, Nyoro and I will probably be bringing air mattresses of our own so no one has to take the floor
- 4 nights (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun)
- you'd be splitting with myself, USD, and Nyoro
- $45 for the entire stay, payment expected up-front

PM me if you're interested. Also let me know if you can bring a PS3 w/Marvel and possibly a full setup (console+monitor). I will have my own 360+Asus in tow, but a 2nd setup couldn't hurt and I'd prefer to play on the tournament console if possible.

Oh crap! 45 dollars for the all of the 4 nights? Damn! Hmmm, lemme see if I can wiggle out from my friend's offer. He got a room for he and his wife and yet he said there was room left for me to stay, which kinda makes me feel awkward about the situation...
