I think that has more to do because Marvel is always on at prime time for most of NA. SF4 starts at like 12am if you're east coast.

Things I found surprising...
Super Smash Bros is more US centric than even Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct. Thought they had more foreign players.
Japan is the 3rd and 2nd biggest region for Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct respectively. These games weren't even released there.
Japan came for anime, biggest foreign percentages.

The only thing that surprises me about this choice is:
1) MKX getting priority over Xrd
2) Smash 4 not having a Sunday slot at all

I can reason choices; Smash 4 sure is fun to play, but it can be a tepid watch. NRS dropped some more sweet cash than ASW did to get that headline spot.

Marvel is always extremely hype. Just like Melee, Marvel has that extremely explosive offense factor which makes it a huge spectator game. Regardless of how people feel about the game's popularity now, it's a fantastic choice to place 2nd to last on Sunday.
