Stop picking busy stages FFS!

Also, fuck Elena's hitbox. That needs to be patched asap.

Also, why is Elena's heal so variable?

Depending on how much Ultra meter you have and if you do the short version, which is done by holding all three punch buttons.

Oh, I see. I assume they just wanted to give players a chance to avoid being too vulnerable outside of knockdown situations. Probably the same reason they made it an ultra to begin with, rather than a super move.

I thought he was complaining about it healing a seemingly random amount when cancelled at the same time with the same amount of meter

Seriously? That is a headscratcher. I rarely see or play against any Elena players, so that's news to me. No clue on that one. Same logic that went into random damage in SFII, maybe?

I don't know if it's true it's just the only way I could imagine her healing being "variable"

damn, that second heal was supposed to be canceled, I knew you would do the ultra lol.

Theres a certain amount of frames that it's cancellable. If you cancel it at the last possible frame you gain the most amount of life possible from a cancel.

Was there a sale on VF5FS recently or something cuz there's a ton of Kyushu I've never seen before on XBL - I feel bad making these guys turn the game off :( - I guess I'll learn some new characters :/

Wolerine has surpassed Zero as a point, same with Morrigan.

Morrigan
Wolverine
Zero
Mags
Nova

In that order free.
Wolvrerine hasn't surpassed shit. One tournament where Wolverine does well (and doesn't even win) and he is put over Zero... lol

Zero has the premium combination of solid zoning, bull shit normals and bull shit mix ups that keeps him at the top with the added factor of obscene damage from any touch or throw. The ability to do self unblockables, convert from insane angles at super jump height and do a safe Berserker Slash like mix up that is safe without an assist puts him at the top. Wolverine's inability to control XF characters after they survived the initial mix up plus his lack of options against XFC (which Zero can Buster cancel) makes Zero the superior point.

Do not confuse character strength with player skill. If Justin was using Zero instead of Wolverine people would be asking for that character to be banned.

Edit: Seyavesh your team while good lacks Morrigan without her best assist Missiles and Vergil on anchor (which is the standard to be best team in the game) hence why it can't be the best.

But they don't play Marvel!

I wonder why Justin is sticking to his team.
He thinks characters like Zero, Morrigan, Doom, Vergil are TOO cheap.

He does have a Zero/Doom/Vergil team which he makes it look disgusting after playing it for only one day. He also has a Wolverine/Doom/Vergil team... allegedly.

J Wong and Valle got ya covered for KI
Chris G got Marvel

The rest is a toss up

E: 112° in Vegas right now.. I'm not digging it

Valle, Grimmmz, Rico, and I'll even throw Max in there too if he happens to put some serious time into KI between now and EVO. It's not a sure win for Justin to be sure.

Bro give it up. Wolverine players place higher more consistantly than Zero players. They have for awhile. The Zero train is over, you missed the stop.

By "players" you basically just mean Justin and PRRog who place high in virtually every game they play consistently. That is about the same as Flocker who places high in tournaments or Cloud if they attend (they don't travel a lot but when they do they place, Flocker has a 100% top 8 finish record)... and I would rate Justin Wong as a much better overall than both of them.

In addition, Zero already has an EVO win under his belt if you are playing the results card (which is really the only argument to present here in favor of Wolverine because in terms of quality of tools Zero has him outclassed). When Wolverine wins an EVO tournament then MAYBE we can return to the argument.

Did Justin really say that? If so then that's kinda whack judging by the teams he used in MvC2. I always assumed that he chose his current team because he enjoyed using them.

How many majors has Zero won since EVO? None. Thank you. Zero is last years news.

Has to be or else Heal would be completely useless

<3 her hurtbox. Depending on what Capcom means by 'fix' her hurtbox, they better fix her other stuff too.

Could you imagine the insanity if he shows up to EVO, gets to top 32, and switches to Zero / Doom / Vergil? If he had that sitting in his pocket, I might lose my mind.

This is the same mentality that people had when they used to think Wesker was better than Zero (OMG Wesker in every top 8, clearly better than Zero!). And then Zero won EVO when before he had only won one major (again both by Flocker).

Zero did win VxG, CEO Winterfest and Curleh Mistache South though (all by Flocker). The real issue with Zero is the same as it always has been... aside from Flocker there aren't any S tier players using that character.

I hate charge ultras so goddamn much. That shit never comes out when I need it to. Especially stupid that a failed input gives me a hop forward into death every time.

Not complaining, just confused.

ggs guys gonna go eat
GGs.

I am feeling pretty down.

America pls don't disappoint me at EVO too
Come in the lobby and fail with us.

I really wish I lived somewhere with a more active scene.

I should just move to Japan, fuck.
Go teach English.

I am cool with that.

Isn't the "baseline" for Evo games like 200 or something.
Tekken might still have another year, even if there's nothing new announced soon.

Wow. That TTT2 entrant number is just sad. And yet the online population for this game is still more active than most other fighters two years after its release.

You got smash, injustice, tekken, and petitions for just about every fighting game that aren't those three.

Outside of already being a terrible game, Injustice is not worth it on Wii U especially since it doesn't have the latest patches. TTT2 on Wii U, on the other hand, is the definitive version (minus the terrible gamepad d-pad) and worth it just for Tekken Ball alone.
