Don't get the Rio. Go to the Quad. It's cheaper and you won't be spending a lot of time in your hotel room anyway. It's also not off the strip like the Rio. The Quad is walking distance from the Evo venue ( a few casinos down). The Rio is not.

cr.mk special cancelable
st.hk having a slightly lower hurt box so you can tag him but it's only -2 on block
FADC Tomahawk Buster but less block stun
EX Condor Spire to move farther
Raging Slash to HCF x2 KKK

Those last 2 changes are amazing. The first 3 are...well, they're something. I can't think of a proper word that is worse than "disappointing."

I updated OP with the other two EVO qualifiers going on this weekend: Japonawa 2013 (Mexico) and AEX Dream Fight 2013 (Italy). I can't find streams for either and I got tired reading through translated Italian flame wars for AEX Dream Fight so yeah that info isn't there, but if anyone knows/finds out, shoot me a PM or post here.

Gonna reorganize community area a bit later today to add the stream viewer, make the FGC Pros bit more visible, etc.

Oh c'mon, y'all don't need to stoop down to mud slinging. He did think Fanatiq's request was reasonable because he thought it happens all the time and that's why it's okay though.

the -2 st.hk might be nice but hurtbox being a bit lower is kinda meh because it can't hit crouching opponents anyway. The cr.mk special cancelable isn't too bad though, means T.hawk will have a good low attack that he can EX Condor Spire or Tomahawk Buster for damage in front and on the ground. Tomahawk FADC is pretty meh though.

I would've liked EX Dive to not bounce you back at all, that would've been really nice.

You're thinking about the HITbox. They're lowering his HURTbox so you can hit him while he does it. I'm hoping I'm confusing the two, because...ugh. :|

Tomahawk buster make it FADCable. Reduced blockstun though.

Raging Slash changed HCFx2 + 3K

Health increase to 950
Flip kick returned to Super status for anti airing
Hosenka [U1] more juggle potential to prevent people falling out
Kikosho [U2] more damage
EX Hazansho [Her overhead flip] to armor break

Cody
Less recovery on backdash
Down + 3K for knife pickup
cr.MK to be -1F on block to make it safe against grapplers [Currently -3F]
b.MP to be properly counterhitable on startup
Crack kick (f-HK) to be airborne after the first frame
EX Criminal Upper to be strike invincible until the active first frame, but he'll be throwable
Badstone able to be released at any point during the charge and not have to wait 20F until the next level
Super to not drop so often

Nah, I'm talking about the hurtbox. I say it's a stupid nerf because it can't hit crouching opponents so allowing folks to hit him with low attacks when T.hawk can't hit them is stupid. The -2 is nice though.

chun doesn't need more health but the flip kick change is nice. Armour break on ex hazanshu seems a bit too good too.

Negative penalties are not in place to discourage keepaway, they're in place to punish you for doing nothing.
If you're zoning properly and actively trying to keep your opponent out, you're not gonna get hit with a negative penalty, and you'll be doing a better job at it.

Not to mention that Bursts are less effective against keepaway tactics.

If the game is designed in such a way that doing nothing would be a successful tactic if not for negative penalty, it's a badly designed game.
