It's unfortunate that so many good moments from other games go unnoticed because they're put on the secondary stream.

James Chen if you're reading this, this is a huge reason why the big games get bigger and the smaller games get smaller.

Yeah, at least show the Top 4 on the main stream.

Or heck, even just the grand finals is better than being completely set aside.

The first thing Sanford needs to do is GTFO out of EMP. It's obvious years of not getting anywhere in life is taking it's toll on him.

I think this might be the right thread to ask, I bought SSF IV AE yesterday (PC) and I could be very grateful if someone pointed me to a tutorial be it in video or text explaining the game mechanics like Focus and Ex especially when and how to use them in general, I think it may vary between different characters.

I heard Vespa Arcade have a very good tutorial for SF4.

Wanted to take a look at kadey's stream, but source only = no deal.
Especially when my gf is downloading Drakengard 3...

it was $7.50 last week (via amazon sale) but wait for a month or so for steam summer sale so you can get them at a discounted price.

Ultra will not be discounted during the summer sale. If you can get AE on sale for $7.50 or less do it now then upgrade in August

I can't read anything about Sanford and twitter without thinking about the Nina tweets. I seriously cannot look at the guy the same after those tweets. *cringe*

As someone who plays a smaller game I think it's for the best to be on a secondary stream. Except something as big as EVO. The people who care are going to find it and I'd rather play at a decent hour with more matches shown.

I feel like more people should step off twitter period honestly, that platform has really put into perspective how embarrassing people can be when they run their mouth without filtering.

Its definitely better than forcing everything into 1 channel.

yoo daaaamn

on the real, EMP used to have the craziest roster ever. I mean:

EMP Justin Wong
EMP Santhrax (Sanford Kelly)
EMP Ricky Ortiz
EMP fLoe
EMP Sabin (Arturo)
EMP Yipes
EMP Dieminion
EMP Chris Matrix
EMP Noel Brown
EMP Marn

all at once! and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of people too. don't forget that there was once a EMP Chris G at one point, but I think it was after most of those guys above left.

also, hahaha at:

I've made an info packet for people new to fighting games. It has stuff on good ways of learning by yourself and lots of SF4-related resources that explain how the game system works and stuff. There's also a ton of KOF13 stuff because that's my main game, but it should be useful anyway:

If a community brings their own streamer (like NRS games and kombat network) it shouldn't exclude them from getting main stage treatment. You should get both.

The main stream isn't the capcom stream. It's the main stream.

The extra exposure on the main stream is nice for the community though, right? Get more people interested in both Injustice the game and watching high level Injustice. Or do you think that being on the main stage makes no real big difference as far as those reasons go?

This EMP flashbacks pics are incredible.

Also, looking at that old roster makes Triforce's iron grip on M2K nowadays make even more sense. That's like a team of gods.

what are those?

anyway for big tournaments this week, there's SKTAR 3 this weekend, the last and biggest MLG qualifier for Melee (but it's only Smash at this event)

I think it's funny how what's basically the 2nd biggest Brawl tournament of the year isn't even at 100 entrants yet

Time management is the problem though. Last year part of the reason Injustice was so early at UFGT was to make room for other games. I'd rather top 8 be at 2 PM on a secondary stream than 9 AM on Level up Live or Spooky. I mean those are great if we can get on at a decent time but given the choice I'd gladly go secondary stream.

All at once? Damn.

If only the dude wasnt such a shitty businessman he could have had a gold mine on his hands.
