Looks like DOA5 Final Round will include at least two new characters.
I only found out about this yesterday, but apparently it's been known since TGS.

What's the Skullgilrs Curse have in store for PSN though?
Will wait until it's safe.
Is she up on Steam yet or no?

I've been waiting months for her to come out. Squigly is great, but I mostly use her on noobs and people who I don't want quitting the game. Big Band is just not for me. Eliza on the other hand? She's too Darkstalkers not to use.

- Katsuhiro HaradaAn interesting difference that sets arcades and consoles apart is that an arcades fighting game and video game share of floor space must be protected and maintained. If they aren't, games will lose their appeal and they wont sell. When a title of a particular genre is lost, that entire genres share of floor space is cut. Thats why we, the Tekken team, are eagerly awaiting a new installment of Virtua Fighter.
From the Tekken team, Happy 20th Anniversary, Virtua Fighter! It goes without saying that VF has had an incredible impact on our industry. Without it, Im certain that the things I've done and created would have been drastically different, and the way its influence has changed the lives of players and developers alike is truly remarkable! Since its a 20th anniversary and Virtua Fighter is a leader in the fighting game genre I think it would be the perfect opportunity to announce a new VF release. Its what the players are waiting for, and what fighting game developers are praying for. Please make it happen!
I think.. that's pretty damn exactly how shelf space works in retail. They're not keeping 500 SKUs of wildlife hunting sims.- Katsuhiro Harada
wildlife hunting sims.
It's a shame they couldn't do something with the blood puddles idea. Maybe they'll take some inspiration from Carmine for SG2!Yeah I was iffy with her in beta but I think the voice adds a lot of charm to the character. Still lukewarm on how the Sekhmet mechanic was handled but she seems to be tweaked enough to the point where shes more than just "Valentine+". Has a lot of tools to deal with zoning actually.
Yipes vs Sanford first to 100 in MvC2

I'll take VJoe over Marrow any day.Man the MvC2 cast is so much superior to the MvC3 cast...

I can live without Sekhmet, but maybe I'll work that into my gameplan somehow.I've downloaded and played it myself. Story mode was pretty great.
Whenever Mike wakes up. Couple hours at the most.

I've been living my life just one day at a time after Eliza stole Annie's rightful spot.Still incredibly sad it's not a scientist shark with a jetpack...
I love the MvC2 soundtrack

12AM ESTSo some people are saying Sm4sh launches on the eshop on Thursday at 10. Anyone got any info about this I couldn't find anything on Google?

So Harada can be working on 9 projects instead of 8? Are you trying to get the man killed? That and I think VF players would find a Tekken-esque VF to be about as offputting as Tekken players would find a VF-esque Tekken to be.Namco should make vf6 if sega isn't interested.
Namco as an entity isn't Harada. Hell, poach freelance talent. Yu Suzuki himself is freelance FFS.So Harada can be working on 9 projects instead of 8? Are you trying to get the man killed? MVC3 has DMC, Nova, Rocket Racoon, C.Viper, Dormamu, Dr.Strange, Viewtiful joe and multple RE characters in it characters in it
MVC2 has gambit, You can have that L if you really want it

Sega's been slowly adding them over the year, they've done 19 of them now, VFDC has 5 of them translated. The translated ones are Yu Suzuki (director of VF1-3tb), Isamu Yamagishi (Beat-Tribe Cup organizer), Katsuya Terada (character designer for VF2), Yosuke Hayashi (producer of DoA5) and Katsuhiro Harada (Tekken director).Cool, any other developer quotes?
Wasn't the 20th anniversary last year... or is it this year?
MvC2 has Sentinel.
I think I like MvC2 and MvC3's cast equally. MvC3 hands down has the more diverse selection (gameplay wise too), but the sheer stupidity and nostalgia of MvC2 is pretty strong. Two Wolverines? Why? FUCK YOU THATS WHY
Man, if MvC2 was released today, that game would get absolutely ripped apart by media and the gaming community.

He's definitely very involved in four of them: Tekken 7, TKxSF, Pokken, Summer Lesson. These games are specifically marketed as being under Tekken team development and Harada will answer development related questions for these games. In contrast, SSB4 and Rise of Incarnates are just games where they're contributing to development but aren't the primary team for the game.Just how involved is he in all those projects, anyway? I'm sure that his main focus is Tekken 7.
