Posted this 2 pages ago (100ppp), the price for it is crazy lol.
Holy Crap did Play Arts go crazy!?!

List Price = 25,920 JPY; Amiami price = 18,390 JPY
It's huge; "Size: Appx. W345 x H280 x D 290mm with tail (155mm without tail)" but damn that price for Play Arts, can't really see how big it is compared to normal Play Arts but the best photo I can find are these:

gaddamn, motherfuckers. PASS

I like the Rockin' Jelly Bean stuff.... but if I'm expected to pay list price for something from WING that suffers from TPS (torpedo-nipple syndrome), then I'll have to pass.

Dat ain't no spray tan, my FigureBros:

unf unf unf unf unf unf unf unf hhhnnngggggggg

kinda have mixed feelings on it. maybe i'll get it to resell.

She looks better than I thought she would, but I'm still not 100% sold on her. I absolutely love the current version of Alleyne, but I'm not sure if I need the re-color or not. I guess it will depend on price and month of release.

Yeah it's disappointing about the figma Marvel stuff... I was excited when they were announced but so far they've all been disappointing compared to other options in that scale. even Hasbro's more recent Marvel Legends have been pretty fantastic for the ~$20 price point, substantially cheaper than a figma while giving sculpts and articulation that's similar. figma still wins in paint apps though... but the faces still look strange on their "western" style figures :( This includes the recent Indiana Jones.

I really, really hope they can knock it out of the park for Hulk... maybe since he's slightly less humanoid than the others he'll be more pleasing to the eye in their style.

Because I still need a Ruffalo Hulk in the 6" (or thereabouts) scale and don't want to pay the outrageous ebay prices for the Wal-Mart exclusive Ruffalo Hulk that came out in 2012 -- the only one that I have my eye on.

Looks like she's going up for pre-order tomorrow (tonight?) and list price is a bit more expensive than the initial release at 12.3k. If the discount is big enough, I'm down.

The Triumphant Excalibur Saber. Couldn't pass it up for under $60. That shipping being 1/3 the price though lol.

what? 17-18 bucks is the norm for scaled figure. That saber is BIG. Like mini ultimate madoka big.

20 is a steal at that price. Though I wonder what the EMS shipping would be. probably around 30

I kind of wish the recolour of Alleyne was a tanned version with tan lines...

Really? That's exactly what most of us didn't want. XD

I like figures that are actually dark-skinned. There are so few of them compared to the total number of figures that are made each year.

Yeah, EMS was $33-35

SAL was like $15 so I figured I'd just spend the extra $5 to get it sooner.

New pictures of tanned Alleyne and, thankfully, no tan-lines. They would have looked incredibly strange with her leaf-bikini.

I'm getting more tempted by the minute. The more I look at it, the more I'm getting Sansai Muramasa-vibes. I mean, even the hair is the same color.

My wallet. ;_;

I figure (no pun intended) I better ask folks here before I proceed to email Alter about my problem.

So I got my very first figurine (which I preorder from Amiami) since I've been admiring all the figures on display at events and hobby shop. Now the problem is after unpacking it, I realize poor Estelle left ankle is slightly bend and hence unable to stand straight properly as shown in the actual promotional materials.

I did check out MFC for other people's pics of her and at least theirs is standing upright properly without any bend at the ankle. Also another common problem with Estelle is the bundled base which is not properly even at the bottom so it cannot flush flat on a table surface for example. So a slight shake on the table and she's wobble non stop for a while lol.

To add to my already bad first impression by Alter, here's a pic I just took before I write this post:

Oh my she's going to snap her ankle anytime soon. ;_;

I know there are some suggestions online to use hairdryer/hot water technique to soften a particular part of a figurine and reshape it since most of them are made of PVC.

So it is better if I email directly to Alter about this problem? Does anyone here have similar experience like mine? :S

Geez...pre-orders for the Bandai DX Chogokin Macross 30 YF-30 Chronos has been as bad as trying to get a pair of Jordan sneakers online.

I missed out at ami-ami, Hobby Search, HLJ, etc. after the fact...but was able to pre-order at Nippon-Yasan but at a slightly higher price.

I've regretted missing out on Yamato/Arcadia's VF-4G, I don't want to miss out on this one.

..... you have opened a whole can of worms for me now. My wallet hates you
