I figure (no pun intended) I better ask folks here before I proceed to email Alter about my problem.
So I got my very first figurine (which I preorder from Amiami) since I've been admiring all the figures on display at events and hobby shop. Now the problem is after unpacking it, I realize poor Estelle left ankle is slightly bend and hence unable to stand straight properly as shown in the actual promotional materials.
I did check out MFC for other people's pics of her and at least theirs is standing upright properly without any bend at the ankle. Also another common problem with Estelle is the bundled base which is not properly even at the bottom so it cannot flush flat on a table surface for example. So a slight shake on the table and she's wobble non stop for a while lol.
To add to my already bad first impression by Alter, here's a pic I just took before I write this post:
Oh my she's going to snap her ankle anytime soon. ;_;
I know there are some suggestions online to use hairdryer/hot water technique to soften a particular part of a figurine and reshape it since most of them are made of PVC.
So it is better if I email directly to Alter about this problem? Does anyone here have similar experience like mine? :S
