Anywho I also stopped at Nakano Broadway before heading back to my hotel, but they didn't have any figures I wanted (I really just want that Saber Alter...). The Mandarakes had a crapton of prize figures though. Either way as long as I got Lucifer, I'm still pretty damn happy with my figure acquisition during this trip.

I've mentioned this before but I just generally dislike joints unless the character already has visible joints like a robot or something. I'm not sure why I like that one. Maybe the cutie helmet accessory.

This is my issue with them as well. They look good but I don't like the joints, I do have the reissue of Samus in her armor on order though.
The issue of joints is bothering me on the Mashiro nendo as well, they are using it for the first time on her. Not enough to not order one though...

Ya I agree with this as well. Samus looks fine, I also liked the Shimakaze figma but cancelled it due to not needing that many Shimakaze figures...
And I would've liked to see Pants on She-Hulk. She's pretty but I would've prefered her purple peants instead of naked legs. Oh and more abs, definitly more abs!
Isn't the leotard her most known look? This is one instance where Yamashita didn't just remove pants for his version of a character design.
Yes it is her most known look and that he didn't removed pants for his version is good but since she has appearances with pants and I like these much more, I hoped she would come with them. However, I wait and see how she turns out in plastic, it's not like the normal look is that bad.

I've just noticed that ques Q overprices everything (at least recently) for the complexity of the products they sell. Simple-looking 1/8 scale figures by them are sold for 10k, so when I saw these figures revealed I was expecting 20k.
Wow, wasn't expecting him so quickly. Guess they really want to get preorders in while the anime is still going. Hopefully he'll sell well and we'll get some other characters down the line... or at least Noiz.

honestly there's room for hope since nitro+ and gsc seem pretty chummy. aoba's price didn't see a huge increase and there was a gsc sonico that went up recently for like...13k? a bit less than that maybe can't recall exactly. it was a 1/6 and had a bunch of accessories to boot
supposedly there's going to be an event at wonfes specifically for dmmd and they teased a surprise announcement. we can only hope that it's figure related

Hm. Ren looks pretty close to being finished at this point, but then so did Guts, and we still haven't heard anything about his release info.
Can't deny the eye candy that figure is, but lol at that price, plus too lewd for my shelves.
I kept getting payment requests every few days. So I combined them when I could. They were all coming out around the same time.

That sold out in a few days, if I recall. I ordered the day it went up, and it didn't even hit the front page of the store until later. I had to search the site several times before I found it hidden away somewhere.
Wasn't crazy about the pay-for-it-now thing, but now that I think about it, it's pretty convenient. I might start doing that more often.

So I have a random question about fixing a figure I have...well, its base.

I like this figure, but the base is a piece of crap.
There is a metal peg coming out of her foot, just under 1cm long, that sets into the base. Problem is, the plastic that seats the peg is not very thick and at some point (probably when I was moving or maybe it got bumped and fell over) a thin piece of plastic on the base under her foot just snapped off so now one whole side of the peg is visible when trying to set her on the base, so she just slips off the base and falls over. Seriously the plastic surrounding the peg is like <2mm thick.
I think I still have the little piece in her box; do you guys think I can just try gluing it back or will it just snap off again now that the plastic's integrity is compromised? If I can't find the piece, any ideas for what I can do? Right now I'm displaying her in the corner of my detolf so she leans directly into the glass so she doesn't look too bad, but I can't move her out of the corner.
I can get a picture when I get home from work if that would help.

Yeah I'd much prefer having to get the payment over with than having to remember that there is money I can't touch.
My best bet to get her will be checking out if any of the vendors at Frank & Son picked her up, which I'd be surprised if no one did, it's where I got a few of my bishoujos.
Only concern now is the price, at least she was limited to 1500 pieces as opposed to 800 pieces like metallic painted Spider-Woman
Looks like Big in Japan will be perfect for me to order from. They will change the value on request, so I can probably get away with buying those Nendo's under the limit of 22EUR over here. Good way to avoid extra custom charges.
Probably not going to work with the bigger higher value items but that is not an issue yet.
