Hakase is hard to find on second hand sites and she is expensive when she does pop up. Nippon-Yasan advertises her as new but in all likelihood she is probably second hand but I honestly wouldn't mind it. If it's another bootleg though...

Pretty sure they have some legit Snow Miku's, but not sure about Hakase. I know a number of people said they just got their Snow Miku from N-Y and it was legit, so obviously they've been selling *some* legitimate copies of her, so I guess I just hope they're not sold out of legit copies.

For Hakase, it seems to be the situation I described above. They don't have her, now they're trying to procure her. *Sigh* They really suck.

I feel your pain. I've had a few figure-related parcels stuck in customs clearance/charging for well over a week now. I imagine they've been put to the bottom of pile as nobody in the office could work out how to price the duty on iM@S or Steins;Gate items :\

It's ridiculous but I guess everyone has to deal with it. I just feel it costs twice as much over here. Oh well.

I'll keep trying and go unreg with SAL next time. If I can only avoid it once every few times, it is already worth it.

I wonder if the workers get a bonus if they catch a undervalued item, because they are just way too eager to never let anything through, it is ridiculous.

Okay I know this is a little late but the last two days I played too much Anno1404 and only read about this whole bootleg thing. Wow, what a story!
Anyway. Yes as it was said it's from the highschool of the dead dude (I hope he get's this series finished in the future), Triage X is a newer series of him and bad but not the best series either, his style is still unique. I hope there will be figures of the rest too, like

Ringing wakes me up today...it's the post office lady calling to ask if I received any notice about a package from Japan because if I don't pick it up today they're gonna send it back. My Luigi spent almost an entire month at the post office and they didn't bother telling me about it until now. Hell I was there last week to pick up the Elf and they checked because I knew there was a letter for me but I didn't have the notice and still no word about Luigi. Sometimes I really hate them.

I never really liked the look of Haruka's newer petit. Shame they didn't fix her face when they reprinted them with the new outfit design.

At least its super simple in the US. Sure, our packages hit customs for a few days, but they're usually out quick and, in the 100s of packages I've gotten, 0 have ever had any additional importation fees.

I can only remember one instance where I've ever had a problem with customs. Had ordered a dakimakura cover from the folks over at Evening Call, and while I love the fact that they ship internationally and allow you to pay via PayPal, their responsiveness is shit. The cover was slated for release in early December, and I got notification that all of them had shipped in Japan, but no tracking number for my EMS'ed cover. Few weeks went by, and nothing, so I tried to contact their support for tracking, but still no response.

Then one day, out of nowhere, a package showed up from Japan containing my cover. Took the tracking number, went and checked it out online. Turns out it'd been in US customs from somewhere like January 2nd to January 23rd. Terrible for an EMS package that'd usually get clearance in like two days.
