The upcoming Sansei Muramasa - Swimsuit Ver. is supposedly forced cast-off too, which means, she will remain eternally-clothed for me. Not that I had any intention of displaying her cast-off, but still.
I guess it's okay if you're wealthy/insane enough to purchase two of the same figure so you can display it both ways.

I do have two melty (alter).... they only announced the regular version and I really wanted the xmas color but it didn't seem like they were going to do it. 2 months later randomly out of nowhere "SURPRISE!" and amiami didn't let me cancel =(.
Now I have 2 meltys sitting on an ice cream.

Different color scheme, though! I don't view color variations as the same figure, personally.
I mean, sure the sculpt might be the same, but the overall impact of a figure can change drastically depending on the colors used.

I love my Ignis, but she's held up poorly. Her peg never fit to give her stability, she's been transferring paint like crazy, the tape/glue to hold on her breast cups stopped working the first time after I took them off...
I really like her, but I might have to buy another because of how poorly this one is holding up.

No one is derailing the Funko thread. The goal is to absorb you all into FigureGAF. POP figures seem to be a perfect gateway item. You'll all be here before long. Especially those of you who like Miku. Want a Miku figure? We have like, 300 Mikus. You'll be swimming in them.

Yes, POP! is the perfect gateway. I know FigureGAF can be a bit of a stickler for non-super-expensive-awesome-poseable-figures like the new Jakks Pacific Nintendo stuff, but POP! figures seem to be fairly praised.
As much as I love owning a ton of Figuarts/Figmas, I can only imagine how expensive the $15 DK and Bowser would be as larger Figuarts. Like $80 each with accessories? Gotta save a little bit for Amiibo funding.

The base does really suck in terms of stability though.

Honestly. All figure discussion is welcome here. Most of us lean toward the imported stuff, but we'll discuss pretty much anything people are into.
It's on my list as "Waiting for Painted Prototype", along with many others. I won't buy it just because it's Ignis, but I will buy it if I think it looks good. I'm not that attached to the source material that I'd grab her if I think she looks like mediocre.

Figures that are cast-off if you're willing to damage it. The most notable example is the 1/2 scale Sonico that is cast-off if you're willing to cut off her arms...
