For a single figma, I've gone as low as $5 with SAL Unregistered but with 5 model kits and two figmas it required EMS shipping which is faster but more expensive and that hit $75.
So it depends on what you're buying and how fast you want it.

Definitely going to get them. I really liked the Taichi and Yamato they did, and I hope they'll eventually fill out the rest of the cast.

Also just because a figure isn't listed for release yet doesn't mean it'll get delayed. It could happen, but there's no guarantee, so don't count on a delay before it's announced.

No, unless it's oddly heavy or has a huge box with tons of accessories.
I think my figma Strength was like $21 EMS shipping so if you go SAL Registered or Unregistered you won't see it for a couple weeks but you'll hit that $8-$12 shipping range I bet.

These are the most common prices and shipping times in my experience for a single figure. Note that some are too large or heavy for SAL

SAL Unregistered: 500 yen - 2-5 weeks no tracking
SAL Registered: 1000 yen - 2-5 weeks with tracking
Airmail: 1500 yen - 5-10 days with tracking
EMS: 2000 yen - 3-5 days with tracking.

Adding a 2nd figure in my experience generally increases any given price by 50%, but has a decent chance of pushing you out of SAL availability. There's something available for larger/heavier packages, called SAL Parcel, but it's never worth it bc it usually only costs 400 yen less than EMS for the package.
