I think people have the wrong idea of what child porn is? By what you just said, having a picture of my daughter playing at the beach in her swimsuit is child porn. We all know it isn't I would like to think that everyone here knows what is actually pornographic and what is not.

These last few pages have taught me to just shut up. I honestly posted the story as a warning to those gaffers in the UK, as I didn't want them to get in trouble. The joke I posted earlier was a joke, but if people don't want to hear it I'm not going to fight for my right to make bad jokes.

But if people are uncomfortable, they need to speak up and not stay silent, and the community should embrace their opinions, even if they don't agree with them.

No its no problem. There is a bit of an undercurrent of sexual creepiness going on but I dont think its hugely prevalent. Its usually a small number of members and they cull themselves anyway. It shouldnt be ignored but I think the way this thread is now is pretty good. Some of the commenting though is definitely pushing it.

It's a gray area. Honestly, as long as people use a little discretion, I think the thread will be fine. I wouldnt think twice about that Magi being posted because she doesn't really look like a kid.

For the record, I'm just echoing what I think are the thoughts of the moderation. I don't mind anything that anybody posts, really.

Well, I didn't list any qualifiers at all. I just said what is probably safe to post. I'm not going to tiptoe into the gray area of what's allowed and what's not because that is ultimately not my call to make.

I agree that it's about discretion. I don't feel like FigureGAF has really been in violation of anything, for the most part.

One thing in particular that I've noticed with those threads is that it seems to be fairly safe if you're female, as I have never seen someone insinuate against a woman who collects figures/amiibos/whatever, the vitriol seems to be squarely aimed at male collectors.
