Im currently working my way through the colloseum but i only beat Europa last week so ittl be a while till I get to frost dragon

One more day of catuars and then i go back to demons unleashed :/

Thx man, my mostly magical team bearly managed to beat that stupid Frost Dragon. Still, I'm quite proud I managed to beat this fight without a tank or cheer and just one slightly gimped(atm) barrage user. Also I only managed one paralize, sleep, silence and confuse but I guess it was enough. That clutch Exdeath lb tho, most hillariously awesome thing I've done in gaming lately :D

I was stuck on Europa for over a week :( haha total road block for me. My main problem was the game crashing during the fight, most times near the end, and having to start over. Needed 2 healers too.
 
What tier list have you guys been using if not that one?

Also if you want to see how they stack up after their 6 star releases, the table below the top units box has numerical rankings/scores that already account for future buffs. Apparently Vaan is a 9 without a 6 star. Silly.

For their current score subtract whatever number is next to their 6 star bullet.

This is why I consider Vaan the best unit in global currently. Even better than Chizuru.

He can easily fit in ALL teams.

His stats are decent as well, so he can also act as secondary physical damage dealer, or buffer since he can equip lvl 4 magic materia, or tank with golem on him because he has high hp.

I actually went yolo with this party comp because I saw that I had 177777 gil(7 is my lucky number) and I randomly decided to replace my second paralize user(Cyan) with a second Kefka(I have 3 of those, lol). I put a hero ring on both Kefkas(I only have 2 sadly) and nuked hard, I had barblizarra on Exdeath and I managed to chain my debuffs and buffs perfectly without anyone dying until the very end(which was a clusterfuck of confused people killing themselves and generally dying left and right). But Artemios was the MVP with his barrage filling up my lb bars and giving birth to that hillarious moment when my 114hp Exdeath(last man standing if u don't count that o mp, 68hp confused Kefka in the bottom) managed to throw a grand cross, confuse the freaking dragon which then committed seppuku by biting its own head off. Been trying for a full week now but I'll be damned if this didn't make it worth it :D
 
Why do you need Garland's TM? It isn't very good - Equip Long Sword

Bonkeng - I think I will replace one of the Bartz with Kefka, but yes that is my plan as of this morning. And you are right about Vaan being the best unit. He has almost 3000 HP, and I haven't hit max level yet. Would really like to do so before the Cactuars are done but the grind from 70-80 is worse than I remember

Holy SHIT! That is crazy damage. I would need Hayate, Zidane, Cecil, and Myuki to do that from what I can tell.... Is that unit on your Friend list?

Thx man, it feels good to finally be done with this fight. I wonder how much easier this would have been with a good tank like Cecil or Wol and with Lenna adding cheer to the mix.. I'm leveling Lenna now(got 2 Lennas and 1 Tellah) and I'm seriously tempted to throw my last 5k lapis for the slim chance of getting WoL...
 
I have no Lapis left, well I have a little - and I have to admit it is liberating. So much pressure to draw well when you have thousands upon thousands of lapis. I am down more than 15,000 Lapis in the last few days. My only concern would be if the Summer bundle actually comes out - I will be hosed. Would have to consider spending one last time just to take advantage of the discounts.

What is this summer bundle you speak off? Is it the fabled 300 lapis/summon thing that I heard something about?

Kefka's also great, specially with Boss fights. But you'll be auto-attacking most of the time, so 2 Bartz is also ideal. Another good use for Bartz that doesn't seem to be discussed often. He has Entrust. Together with Fina, you have 3 units with Entrust, which means you can level up LB much faster. Very useful for when you can get Cecil, his LB is so OP when maxxed.

That's how you get Chizuru from Top tier to God tier.

I currently have Zidane, Miyuki and Cecil.

If I get Garland and Hayate, I'd TM-farm everyday. Specially if I get Garland.

@CCIE, please don't stop playing, you would just regret your investment even more. Just be aware that "good enough" does not equal to "optimal". I feel for you, I went on a pulling craze trying to get Chiz earlier, and I still don't have her. But first, that optimal status is only temporary, and second we don't actually need all that! We can clear current content with far from optimal units, and it will always be the case.

"Future-proofing" is the best marketing argument Gumi would come up with if asked, and it's the worst reason to pull. We don't need tanks right now, so don't spend too much on a tank. Chances are you'll naturally get one with the few following banners anyway, and you'll be all setup by the time you actually need one. Like I finally got a Bartz while I was looking for a WoL.

We have to accept that we won't be able to possess all the good units. Period. They feel somehow accessible right now with a 4* entry fee (which is extremely deceptive, but is helped with the tons of people posting their success stories, myself included), but when the 5* arrive, we need to absolutely be ready for disappointment with the pulls. Otherwise we enter the casino-roll "I'll try anyway", followed by the "I'll roll again so the previous try was not for nothing" endless cycle.

I should be telling myself that I won't loose my mind attempting to get The Emperor.

But I know that I will.
 
So I pulled 22 times on this banner, walked away with 3 tellah and 1 Lenna. Other notable gains were Zidane , Terra and CoD so I'm pretty happy with it.

I have quite a nice AAA team of
Kefka
Firion
Bartz
CoD
Lenna

But I've decided here on out I will primarily use a different team for farming, vortex farming, everything else but the hard stuff. This team I've assembled has all the trust rewards I want to strengthen my main team.

This trust reward B team is,
Shantoto(magic 30%)
Terra(ultimata)
Luna(barrage)
Zidane(dual wield)
Locke(some really strong throwing weapon for CoD to equip)

With these two thieves on this squad I should be pretty good grabbing items too. This is the plan for the next year I guess lol
 
excalibur + sakurafubuki deals more damage than 2 sakurafubukis? (assuming that chizuru has blade mastery equipped), it would be nice to find out if the blade mastery applies per weapon or to the total atk of the unit.
 
I just completed making my second Hero Ring. Now time for the Gravity Rod.

I like the idea of A and B teams, but I need party composition help! I've been truly lucky so far in that I'm slowly leveling good units.

For my A team, it's obviously WoL, Kefka, and Lenna. But I've also got Cecil, Terra, Zidane, Locke, Tellah, and Golbez.

B team is, like yours, gonna be Terra, Luna, Zidane, Locke, and Tellah.
 
On the boss for S-3 Int and just got done taking out the last tentacle with a sliver of health on the boss to go.

"I'll be fine, I don't need to heal up to full...."
*Casts triple Blizzard*
*Rain, Bartz, Edgar, Kefka all drop dead, Fina has 37 hp*

You have a lot of strong magic units going on! You also have the best tanks and healer. I think you're in really good shape.

Ouch :p I hate moments like those where you think you will be fine for one more round before you cure haha. I'm currently on Int B-5.
 
Definitely feeling the cactaur nerf. Have yet to get a 3x run, and my average run is probably 1x metallicactaur 1x gigantaur. Barely better than the adv exp vortex.
