Glad you got a unit you enjoy. Sometimes those are just as fun as getting an elite unit.
But just so you know, you will definitely pull him again. Cyan and Anzelm are neck and neck for my most pulled units, with Cyan at 24 and Anzelm at 28.
I won't use him, just glad to have him in my collection. I don't know if I should "regret" that I chose Luneth, because Noctis is my favorite protagonist in the series, and I basically have no connection to Luneth as I never played his game. Oh well, maybe I'll get around to Final Fantasy IV (was that his game?) later this year.
Yeah, Cyan is just an ordinary 1* unit.
Btw, I am constantly running out of space for materials, so I keep buying extra slots with lapis...
Chizuru. Her damage makes things much easier and quicker.

They got rid of some but they def. haven't gotten rid of them all, hell I have someone on my friends list that I know has injected at least one. I just stopped caring.
Oh shit, my 1/2 pull was a 3* Xiao! Am I good with this unit or should I have pulled a 4* or 5* Xiao? There's no notes about her on the unit ranking list.
I also awakened Lasswell cause why not, I had way too many of each material anyway. Still looking for sacred crystals though..

the only difference between 3 star Xiao and her 4 and 5 star forms is how much resources it takes to get her maxxed
think of this like pokemonm there is only one Xiao but she can upgrade and evolve
so yes pulling 3 star is just fine but you will have to build her up to 6 star
I'm gonna be doing the Nian Beast ELT today and I'm curious what items I can use that don't need Throw? I bought some grenades and couldn't use them. Totally sucked. Now I'm not sure what I should bring. What do most people use?

So I just need to put in more work on it, and it can become just as good as the 4* and 5* star base ones.
I maxed out Cecil too, but it's so hard finding all the materials to awaken them. Guess I'll level up Ace and Warrior of Light next, and slowly preparing Garland and Xiao.

First world problems and all...but just got a dupe Yun while trying to pull for Ling. Only my third rainbow (other one being Ace), so was hoping, when I saw it, that it would be another top tier (Lightning, Luneth, Noctis, D. Fina).
Gah, I really want to pull Ling, so I'll keep going. Not sure whether or not I want to "hope" to not get another Yun, or not.

The struggle to break the 900 atk barrier couldn't be more real. One more Seal of Destruction should put me real close!

Only item I know off hand that doesn't require throw is Void Vessel but you can't get the recipe anymore
The elemental-damage items ("do a small amount of X damage to an enemy/all enemies") don't require Throw. A bunch of them are craftable, I'm not sure if any are purchasable.
The "Throw" listing at the wiki shows the items that do require it. I think everything else does not.

With the upcoming FFII banner, I think Gigalmesh and Luneth can crush it. Each will get basically another Blade Mastery amount of ATK.

Congrats, that is some crazy luck. Still have yet to see a rainbow here and I've played since soft launch.
Free and daily pulls have all been garbage but used to it at this point.
Don't worry you'll get a few in a short time eventually
I got a 3* Xiao a couple days ago, now 4*. My first party may start to get decent, lol. (FYI I started playing the game about a month ago, F2P, no re-rolling)
Currently running:
6* Mercedes
4* Rain (about to be 5*)
4* Xiao (about to be 5*)
4* Warrior of Light (about to be 5*)
4* Maria
I did have Terra in the group before I got Xiao. It's not a great group but I feel like it's slowly getting better.

Damn, the mog king axe is 50k? Fuckkkkk that may be the first weapon I skip from an event, depending on how much we get per run.

I do have Snow but only 1 unit, rather have 2 units of gaffgarion to get a +30 attack boost than one snow that will take forever. I also have 5 of that woman that gives me barrage trust that I want to get done. but maybe just focus on getting +30 attack bonus first.

To be honest reading this topic the last few days had me like
I don't really care about all the meta stuff and PVP, i just love collecting the units and leveling up.
Question : why did the chamber of crystals disappeared? Farming for espers materials is a pain...

They have different vortex events that are only up for the weekend (usually) or a short period of time. Chamber of Crystals is one that rotates, along with Gil Snappers Cave, Cactuar Dunes, etc. Not sure if there is a better spot now but the old magicite farming spot used to be Phantom Forest exploration if i remember correctly.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, community here is really helpful!
I just pretty much quit buying weapons altogether because everything I need comes from TMs any ways. I just use the currency on the abilities and mog.

I collect them even if I will never use them so I will probably just end up getting it anyway. Now that I think about it 50k isn't that much when you conisder the DQ sword is 300k lol.

I think I have this recipe. I'll have to double check. I remember making one for the trial with the metal cactaur as the first boss. Might be a little expensive to make, but I'll look into it.

Keys are through a crafting recipe with fine alcryst and screamroot (one typically got from crafting abilities rarely, the other from minitaurs that are rare encounters). They and their components are sometimes rewards for events.
Sacred crystals are rare drops, you can get them most frequently in INT chamber of awakening but the drop rate still sucks. They are occasionally purchasable during mog king events.

It doesn't provide any specialist use. This is typically why you get the event items, because if there was a boss weak to water, using Mercedes Axe would be fantastic.
But it has a more generalized use now, but at the same time, very few characters use Axes. But if they add one in, you'll want it since it will be a good item to use.
The DQ sword is a TM worthy sword and the best sword in the game outside of Base 5 characters. It's so worth it, since many characters also get bonuses from Swords and TMs use it too. I.E. Leon's TM on either Giglamesh or Luneth with the Demon Mail is the next Blade Mastery, till they start putting in GS Mastery, etc.
