With that setup I get from ELT about 800 candies.
Stupid Blob makes it so that I can remove my Exdeath (I use double meteor for Blob, because reasons).

Reading these posts + my own pulls from today. It seem that rate for Randi is lower than Yun rate was or other banners. Might just be rng but blah.

the rates are really awful even for a gacha game. And more and more gacha games are coming out ( like FE) with gameplay that is simply more fun and tactical...
The events in ffbe are kind of boring too, it doesnt help. And there aren't enough challenges. Back it up with garbage rates ( and troll rainbows) and you've got yourself a loser
Yeah I honestly agree with you.
I'm lucky enough to have several 5* bases to clear all content easily, but the events are like, rinse and repeat. The only event I really liked was the Lunar event.

Fire Emblem will definetly be a threat to this game, honestly. AAA polish, good rates and great gameplay will surely put things in perspective to players that try both.

In no way is this preferable to lowering the giveaways but giving a guarantee after x pulls.
I stopped doing even that. I've been just doing TM farming non-stop and almost have 2 dual-casts, two Great Swords and whatever Maxwell's TM is.
So obviously I'm in agreement with some of you guys, Gumi needs to do some changes or something or I can see this game dying. There's too many Gacha games out there right now that have my attention that if Gumi just sits on having this I'll eventually just stop playing altogether out of indifference.
Improving summon rates would go a long way because goddamn that rainbow troll shit needs to be fixed.

There's also the fact that Nintendo, while plodding in its online ways, is "trustworthy" in ways that Gumi isn't. Publicized rates and a pity counter from day one? Awesome. Similarly, DeNA has earned a lot of goodwill from me too. (Not to start a "which game is deeper" argument, I'm just talking about business practices.)
So sorry to hear that, yet again, long-timers are thinking of scrapping this game. I don't know how long I'll last either. It's just so repetitive, and even hearing how OTHER people are screwed by Troll Rainbows (or no rainbows) makes me hurt for you.

So, I went all in on this banner and came out with little to show for it.
Daily + 2x11 pulls + 35 Tickets:
New: Primm, Popoi x10, Celes x2, Hope, Trey
TM Dupes: Gaffgarion, Hayate, Miyuki
Also, out of those 58 pulls, I had 52 Blue and 6 gold: Primm (New), Hope (New), Gaffgarion (TM Dupe), Trey (New + Troll), Kain (Troll), Rakshasa (Troll). 2 of the golds were from tickets, the other 4 were in the 11 pulls.

Perfect timing for this week's Black Magic ban in Arena. I took 2x Exdeath off my team and replaced them with Chiz and CoD. W/ DW #2 Chizuru chains 2x Flame Katana Phantom Shadow w/ Noctis's 2x Fire Flask while CoD does a Golem Staff Darkness attack and Cecil/Refia Curaja. I haven't lost yet, but the matches are far, far longer than weeks when I can run my normal team.

When you spend money to do pulls (I've done that a couple of times) and you get not even anything new but the same repetitive straight Garbage and Troll Rainbows you start to think to yourself "Well if the game keeps showing me the same stuff even if I pay money why bother?"
I have more nostalgia for Final Fantasy than I do for Fire Emblem but this game isn't hitting all the same spots like it used to for me and Fire Emblem is just doing it for me but better.
It's like they're trying to rub it in your face. :/

. Used around 15 tickets, nothing really of note for me unfortunately. Golds were 2 primms, another Chiz, snow (first one so yay I guess?), and a garnet. Rest were 3* garbage.
ELT seems tough unless you have 3 strong units . Managed to beat it with Exdeath, my Chizuru and a strong Noctis friend but yea.

Fire Emblem looks nice, but I've never played a single game in the series so Smash is my only exposure to the characters. Roy is the only one I'd be hyped about getting.
What I really hope is that Dissidia gets an English release quickly. I played a bit of it and the gameplay is fun, the gacha is for gear rather than characters, the pull rates seem fairer, the story seems cool with all of the various characters and there is no stamina system.

Everything I read about this game looks absolutely wonderful, can't wait for it to get a global version.
I hope DeNa handles it if it comes, Gumi should stay miles away from the franchise.

All blues were unremarkable, except Zidane x2 and a Leo.
So, 45 pulls for 3 Zidanes and an incredibly long overdue Chizuru. Those units are nice, but I wasn't pulling for them so it's very bittersweet.
The banner feels like the Brave Frontier banner. It probably has a ~85 to 90% miss rate on it and would generally would be classified as a trap.

Don't know how many pulls I want to make on this banner, even if it's for bonus units, after the debacle I had on FF-Type-0 chasing Seven.

Everything that you all are saying is very likely true, about the game's events feeling somewhat rote, about bad pull rates, other games being more appealing, so on and so forth.
But...
On the Noctis banner, I dropped horrific amounts of Lapis & tickets trying for him, with little to show for it save my first Miyuki and 5 Mercedes. And Equip Shield.
Then I spent 7 dailies and nearly 40 tickets for Ling (all of my stock), the majority of those tickets literally hours before news of the SoM banner went up. So it was that I looked at that announcement with a bittersweet feeling in my heart and the premonition of a throbbing pain in my wallet. The only 5* base I've gotten is Ramza. I knew the odds going in.
So I got home from work a few hours ago expecting to spend my ticket stockpile (a princely 3 tickets) as well as 10k of my 13.5k Lapis to only have 5 Popois, 1 Primm and +5% to Magi Staff, Ribbon, Excalibur #2, et cetera.
Daily: Popoi
Ticket 1: Krile
Ticket 2: Mercedes
Ticket 3: Randi
It doesn't change what you're all saying about the game - my brain knows that. It's still largely a nostalgia-preying skin over a slot machine with a rudimentary battle system. Winning the jackpot at a casino doesn't mean anything other than you got lucky. But I just watched (my!) Randi slash Dark Lich while listening to that great boss theme and I'm happy as a clam.
p.s. with the 2000 candy I accrued from running everything up to ELT, I bought three tickets. Lenna -> Cyan -> Primm.

I just noticed that I didn't get a Rainbow in those 11 pulls. Randi came out of a blue crystal. So 11 pulls also have those blue>rainbow crystals.

Also guys, since I get Yun, what's the best gears for him. I didn't get the Esper kill so I don't have any whip with a lot of attack.

Man everyone talking about FE's amazing rates I am up to 40 rerolls and I have seen a base 5* once. It was some archer guy don't even remember his name he was literally the only one of them I didn't want lol. Oh well keeping it going.

I like FE atm, but I don't agree with you guys on the gameplay. Atm I feel it's lacking any sort of depth. The extent of the tactics is the triangle really. I would like to see a bit more going forward.
Roy was who I was hyped for because of melee and his artwork is one of the best in the game. It's worth trying as he's not too rare (4* base).
Is Dissidia a spin-off of the main Dissidia line? The one on psp and ps4.
I think the thing is the 5* pool isn't split, so it's 6% for a 5* but the odds for a 5* base are pretty low.

w/e dude. Takumi is wrecking shit for me. I guess he's OP early game, but doesn't help out much in the end. I'm ok with that, running through the story now just autoing everything.
Saving up orbs and I can do a couple multi pulls later.

Oh I'm sure he is a great unit. I just don't like ranger/archer archetype characters. Honestly my dream pull would be a Lyn/Robin/Marth but yeah
Mana Beast is super easy for Randi as he got all the Killer Passive against it. The slime on the other hand, will eat Randi alive. I still need Noctis to reliably farm ELT.
Lol thanks. I've just been extremely lucky so far that sometimes I feel like I don't even deserve it since I haven't spent too much on this game. And the one unit I wanted the most will troll me hard, Orlandu. I feel it.
