This is the only event I've ever farmed the hell out of. So far, I got: all Megacite, Sacred Crystals, some 6* mats, all Gigantuars, Full Moon Slash, the +SPR hat, and all but the last 3 tickets.

Is the axe worth it, when I have like 8 Mercedes? Or should I just do 30k moogle and other stuff? Mind you, I'll be farming tomorrow as well, but I doubt I could get 25k in a day to get both the axe and moogle.

107 Mana Beasts, 62 Rabite. Luck was on my side this time. Unless I want to grind out some extra 6* mats or megacites I'm already done with it too. Not feeling like getting the axe or 70k moogle.

Also completed Blade Mastery which puts Lightning at 720 attack. I think the only thing I can improve on her is Black Cowl which is at 80%, other than that I need more units with good TMs for body/abilities. She's just about capped out. I stupidly skipped Max so I don't have Power of Creation, and instead just have BM + 3x 10% ATK. 2x Bracer, Excal + Sakura katana.

2nd Dual Weild went onto CoD. Team's looking pretty legit.

This last 20k or so is going to take forever. I'm kind of thinking I'll skip the sq for now, get the tickets, mats, cacts, axe and moogle and go from there.

What are the must have items from Fat Choco?

Mercedes' axe has an element attached to it so it can be troublesome if you run into an enemy that resists or outright nullifies that damage, in this case water. If the axe can be a strong weapon for you, then getting it is worth it. If not, then you can possibly pass on it.

I have 3 Miyukis baking my second one up right now then a Brave Suit and Seal of Destruction will about finish up my Noctis for what I have available to me Maybe once he's done I can finally get to my 5 Locke's, 4 Cecil's or heaven forbid the cache of Shantottos plugging up my box

Mercedes' axe has an element attached to it so it can be troublesome if you run into an enemy that resists or outright nullifies that damage, in this case water. If the axe can be a strong weapon for you, then getting it is worth it. If not, then you can possibly pass on it.

I personally try to get every weapon I can that has an edge case use and only skip ones that don't or I have a better version of.

Only issue is not many characters specialize in Axe nor is the Axe Mastery out. GS, Swords, and Katanas seem to still lead the way.

Gaffy is also a good choice, that is IF you like / will farm Tm's in the future, 30 attack and 15% health on an accessory isn't the BEST choice, but its up there~

What cometh after Valentine's Day banner? FF2? I hope? Because from what I recall yall were saying that was a banner that is worth it.

Surely going to be FF2, especially as Marie in the Valentine's Day banner was on the FF2 banner in JP. That would allow the normal exploration event to be run during the usual Mog King downtime week.

After that, the next Mog King **should** (lol) be FF Zero Collab 2 or FF Tactics Collab 2.

Given how badly Gumi seems to be dragging out Orlandu, the odds are likely for the next Mog King to be FF Zero Collab 2.

Or, it could be another random global exclusive. Who knows at this point?

My next batch of TM's are 87-97% done... Yun, Miyuki, Cecil #2, Zidane #3! Gaff is the other one but he's only 40%.

Still have 100 tickets for whatever's coming too!

Week 1: The FF2 set with the exploration: Guy (3), Leon (4), Emperor (5).
Week 2: The FFBE set: Shiera (3), Shine (4), ????? (5).

Marie fits in perfectly with that open 5* slot, but she is being offered early. So, what goes there? Another new 5* Global Exclusive to chase right before Orlandu, yet again?

I'm suspicious at this point that 4 or 6 rabbite spawns can only be found on ELT. I've never seen more than 3 show up on PRO.

I'm personally expecting them to punt Shiera and Shine off the banner entirely, similar to how they removed Mercedes from the FF5 banner to use her as gap filler for the Noctis banner. Then for FF2 they'll roll Firion, Guy, Leon and Emperor - Global hasn't had a rate up for Firion yet, and it would mirror the way Cecil and Bartz were added into our 4 and 5 banners, respectively. The rarity change has lessened the importance of that, perhaps, but for newer players, putting Firion on the banner makes it more attractive since his 6* is a known and (eventually, especially) powerful quantity.

I'm suspicious that the rabbit spawn table is either limited at lower-than-ELT difficulty or the odds of the higher numbers of rabbit spawns is much more limited on ADV and PRO.

And yeah, 6 hour downtime in ~57 minutes or so from this post, at the top of the next hour.

Explorations events aren't normally released during the second week of a Mog King event, either. They show up during the downtime window. The current situation is unusual.

That said, your point is rather solid. It would be a great time to drop the story content and call it a week (because they have done that before). Also, if Gumi did that, it would be a very convenient excuse for them to shovel off the FFBE unit portion of the the JP FF2 banner then (also because they have done this on previous banners where there is no specific content tied to the FFBE original units released).

You know, this iw totally plausible.

Gumi might think that by releasing Orlandu on schedule, it will trivilize the next few banners and events.

So they'll purposely delay Orlandu until all the other less important units are released.

I'm sure they know a lot of players are waiting for Orlandu, and there's a big chunk of that player base who'll quit after wasting all their resources and not getting the one true God.

Delaying Orlandu's release for whatever reason they will throw, works in their favor.

Releasing Orlandu so late that there are almost same level Global Exclus. Gumi's problem is that people don't care so much about GL Exclusive units, well cause they are Exclu and "unnamed" vs Orlandu.

Would be great to know, how much of playerbase stops playing after Orlandu (when they don't get him) and is there enough players to start playing (i.e. doing rerolls after rerolls for hope of Orlandu) vs those that quit for good.

Gumi's best bet is just to delay Orlandu as much as possible.

I have over 50 tickets and 20k lapis saved up. If that isn't enough to get him, FFBE wasn't meant for me. With how terrible the rates have been lately, I wouldn't be surprised if I failed to get him. The game will probably kick me while I'm down by giving me my third and fourth rainbow troll.

-40% Dark Resist, 25% atk passive, 30% atk for equipping daggers or projectile weapons. 85% atk passive total.

Stronger barrage.

ST +80% atk/mag. That's seriously OP when combined with the right unit.
