Anyway, it was announced the next big JP event is gonna be another FFXV one because Episode Gladio is coming. Noctis is getting another rate up but Gladio, Cor, and Iris will be added.
Lanzelt Highlands - Exploration I believe is slightly better per energy for just Light Megacrysts.

This is a bit outdated, in terms of Megacrysts:
Fire: Surging Volcano or Zoldaad Castle
Ice: Abandoned Orphanage
Light: Abandoned Orphanage or Invincible Interior
Fire Shrine gives all Megacrysts, so what you get is rather random.

O I wasn't saying she can't finish it lol I was just wondering. So would you use her 7 hit move to close out the chain or does she have another skill that is better for that?
Are they the best per energy?

Same skill works as a closer no problem. It's her most powerful attack especially now that it's enhanced to +2

Ah I see. I was ignorantly thinking that people who were considered closers were guys that use 1 hit moves like Cut Through which was why I asked. Thanks for the info.

Should be, as the drop rate per node on megacrysts on Zoldaad is considerably higher than on Dirnado.
In terms of energy efficiency, the exploration closest to the beginning of the island that offers the megacryst is the most efficient.
So, orphanage for Ice/Light, and volcano for Fire.
Fire Shrine is very YMMV. The other explorations are better, if you are focusing on one color of megacite (as there are only 3 colors to roll from versus 8 in fire shrine).

I really wanted Olive. I think she's a game-breaking character that won't be matched for some time to come and that includes Orlandu.

Orlandu is gonna be more powerful than Olive on the whole. She has the attack advantage but since she's single-wielding, Orlandu and DW will nullify that a bit. She also can't chain and she has to take, at minimum, 2 turns to get going at full power.
See the chart Visceir posted a few pages back to see how DW and DH compare in regards to regular attacks. That should translate to skills as well.

Ah ok. Well gl to you then. Would be awesome if you got her. Just her sprite and animation alone make me want her lol.
I think I've run orphanage like 10 times and have gotten a single Light Megacryst.
Are we sure the rates are actually better per node? I average like 4 megacryst in Aquatic Cove, and like 2 in Orphanage.

Technically, Olive is ushering in the elemental damage era since she's come before Orlandu. I suspect Olive will also scale better than Orlandu does until enhancements hit as well. Orlandu is gonna be easier to use for most people though since everyone and their uncle has an Excalibur by now, lol Just hit Holy Explosion all day, every day.
Don't worry, I don't have one yet either. Waiting for my first DW to make it.

She's the new Elza: great unit but has absolutely nothing in the way of nostalgia. Opera Singer Celes* would probably be more popular.
Honestly, I'm way more hyped about Dark Fina, because all story units must be mine... and I realize I have no nostalgia for them either, and thus I'm contradicting myself.
* I didn't realize how much I wanted this until now.

Yep! In the town right after where you're at, you talk to a dude right beside the Farplane crystal and the path to Odin opens up.
Will spend probably one or two tickets and maybe a daily or two to try and get him. I won't get him. But Rikku... her ass is mine.
OMG. Been TM farming since last night and had to fix the game like several times... One of the more annoying aspects is the farming stops because of a new screen that appears to tell me that the character I chose for my friend member has changed his data or some shit (Can't recall exactly what it says) and I must chose another character. I use the Freebie FREP and it doesn't know how to hit ok on these. lol
Olive is a DH unit, there's a reason why no one really bothered with DH units on JP, even when we could stack Bartz TMs and had units like Garland and Hunter Rain with decent innate DH.
Her weapons pool is atrocious, none of her skill modifiers are remarkable and her big damage dealing skill doesnt have the elemental res down attached to it.

Garland has bad attack mods and Hunter Rain's mods are kinda meh overall are the problem with those two. Randi is where they started taking notice and then they pushed it with Cloud.

Has this been the best couple weeks of free TM time yet? Aside from dailies and arena check-ins, it's all I've done. Kinda nice to just play the gacha game and advance a lot of TMs.
I still need Firion... and Garnet.
Nah, olive Will stay a little longer. Nobody Cared about elza because she is a límited unit.
Nobody Beats orlandu, because the elemental chain, but pre-enhancements era, olive is a top tier unit for global standards now and un the following months.
It's REALLY hard. I couldn't even put a dent in the guy and I think I have some fairly decent units. The thing that will kill you is when all the status effects start to show up. A real pain in the ass. Not sure I have the units to really do this and the guy has an insane resistance to damn everything. Good luck, man. Definitely prepare yourself.
