I see good cases for both the +1 and +2 Lunera, and I could see it going either way, but I think it'll be the +1 version. I can't think of any time that Gumi intentionally smashed a unit the following week. You'll have the decision of 60% or 40% w/other. Course, I can be wrong too...

I also regret using my free 10+1 on this banner, and feel silly spending like 50 tickets trying to get an Ashe. Should've stop at like 20 when I had enough for a full bonus unit team for the event.

I still haven't received them.. sent a support ticket the day after it happened and they emailed me that they marked my ticket as resolved like 4 days ago without saying anything. They then proceeded to send me a mail to rate their support lol. They didn't communicate anything

You are always going to lose the unit that gets targeted by the arm so reraise is a must
Does Damage mitigation buff work on all strike from the volley or just the first one?

He does AoE Magic damge and the only tank that has a chance to capture all that is Rasler funnily enough
I wonder if you are better off with Wilhelm LB (for AoE High damage mitgation and Def buff combo) or Cecil LB since he gives the whole party a massive complete defensive buff and make up the damage mitgation with Rikku/Yshtola
It does seem based on the comments that even with Max buffs and mitigation that he can still punch through your team.
I just dont see how its really THAT bad for us to eat a volley when I see JP teams doing the same things. Plus there are tons of videos online with teams completing this trial without Ramza

Anyone else thinks that it's incredibly convenient that, with Aigaion on the horizon, they moved up the Nier event where 2B has 100% machine killer, and an additional 100% machine killer behind an ability?

Nah he just hit REALLY hard it's possible to survive with something like 16k HP and crapton of DEF (so enhanced Wilhelm)

You dont NEED to survive the Arm attack. It hits way over the the maximum possible HP
You build around that unit dying and make sure it has reraise on
The more important thing to survive is the normal volleys

So the Heavy hit arm attack is set to hit the unit with the Highest ATK stat but... You can have the tank step in right?
Yep, provoke works with it.
It's a bit of column A - what you're describing being a fortuitous thing for them to capitalize on - and column B, which is capitalizing on Nier still being somewhat in the current consciousness. If they released it at the same relative time as they did in JP, that interest is long gone.
I think it's pretty clever and it generally benefits everyone, so I'm not fussed - assuming they stick to their word and don't nerf the units or the TMs.

So he had to have the 100% Ramza buff, 54% Damage mitgation and his own stats to tank the Arm attack
The next best thing we could do is have Rikku put up a 74% Spr/Def buff Though I bet Wilhelms Own LB would cover it fine since it gives both Def 74% and 54% damage mitigation at max... But is that enough?
He did have 3K Hp left over

Thanks, but no thanks. When trying to get banner units on banner and it requires mounds of tickets to even try to do so, I'm good. I'm not wasting tickets on more Bediles and Clynes trying to get banner units. Especially not when I'm saving up for the next unit I really want. I mean, if Nier was already on my list and I was already spending tickets, that's cool. But if it's not daily... then I'll have to live without. In this case, I see it as a case of "don't chase the rainbow"... just replace rainbow with banner units. Because pulling banner units on banner is a myth. Unless it's fucking Vaan. WTF. 4th one today.

My wife hates video games, but she loves sports so I feel that more than makes up for it. To be honest I prefer that she doesn't like them as it gives me something that I can do alone from time to time. I like to just put my headphones on, and kick back and get lost. My last girlfriend before I met her wanted to play games or watch me play games all the time, and while it was cool it got annoying at times lol.
Great vid as always. Zargabaath really doesn't have much damage output.
To add to your data, my Atk Zarg get 150k normal attack damage, ~430k damage with Sacred Strike (for first turn, if you hit again you'll get more as the holy has imperil); 490k with Judgement Blade.
Nothing really impressive at all. I've built him in MAG build as well and he really doesn't have much damage output in that either. One good thing about him is that he remains tanky regardless of how you build him.
That Rasler build sure is sexy. I really have to farm Rasler TM. Especially as Robot wars in coming and I need Wilhelm to take hits.
Last week was understandable due to it being July 4th, but I hope Wednesday isn't the new norm.
I was planning on starting this tonight as well. But my week is so busy

Far from a waste of space. I got Rem from an Ex Ticket. Others have pulled rainbows from them as well.

This is just another variation of a ticket, except worse. Why not just give regular ones away. Now we have more crap to sort through and all. Just seems like they're over complicating things by giving a bunch of different tickets for slightly altered things. In this case, a neutered version of the pool.
I dunno when I'll spend mine, since I tend to do stuff on banner. Won't get lucky with Rainbows anyway, so would have to be a sit down and wait to pull a dumpster fire of shit. Which isn't all that appealing either. But then again that's how I've felt about just pulls in general for months now.

EX tickets are just an added bonus for people that buy Lapis so the fact they gave them out as a random gift to people for some stupid quiz thing they did at the Fan Fest I think is awesome. Sure, they aren't banner tickets, but at least they are something, and didn't cost you anything. Just do what I am doing and hoard them until the 3% bump when we also have a much larger pool to pull from.
You can just reraise your highest ATK unit and click repeat.
Most people's goal with that trial is to have a perfect sustainable turn, and just repeat until you win, since that fight will last a few hours.
