If it's something like, end of Disc 1 is the end of an episode, end of Disc 2 is end of an episode, and the waits aren't that long, then sure, I guess.
Hmm... mixed thoughts but I'd need to know more. If done well it could be interesting, but...
Definitely a surprise to hear... almost certainly so they can get it done in a timely fashion though.
Sounds fine to me. I like the idea of them releasing it in episodes and getting it out earlier. Though I'm sure this post will drown in the sea of hatred.
Well, it means it comes out faster, I guess one cannot complain :l.
Considering the massive size of the original game, this must be a way to cover the expenses on the title; each part (10-14 hours long) being sold at 30-40 bucks, with each part having saves carrying over.
Maybe they are doing what they did during the PS1 era with different portions of the game being on disks, with each disk being solid on its own this time.
Regardless, they need to explain this to us. I could see people getting annoyed with this news :l.
I guess that explains how they plan to cover the whole story. They'll use episode breaks to cut out parts of the world that would be too large and too time consuming/expensive to create.
Told? Who wants to be told, I want the game with a set world map and the option to go back and forth any time I want (as soon as you get the Highwind that is). It needs to operate like the original, with whatever good or bad addition they have in mind, who in the hell needs a streamlined FFVII to relive anything?
