I wish I could, but there isn't any potential for VA work for us to hold over her head like there is with Feep.
Stuip Omlet for scaring her off.
Tell Aeana that
It should be in the email with PSN code.

Well, as a veteran FFXI player, I think I'm out. I'm not liking this...the game looks like a solo fest for most of the time, partys aren't encouraged at all...just do some quests, spam your best skills over and over and that's it. And since you get 1.000tp from the beginning and you are spamming them, the skills lose all value. It's not like in FFXI, where getting your 100tp and unleashing your weaponskill (even better, skillchaining with someone else!) was fucking satysfing.
I'll keep an eye out for Beta 4, but this doesn't seem for me at all. Solo options are great and I welcome them, but with MMOs I'm looking for a social experience.
Maybe I'm just not with the times.

I was sent a ps3 code today in my email, just got home, and it says the code is invalid. Wtf, is this a known issue or did I just get screwed?

Wow Square-Enix is on top of things this time.
Apparently the NA PSN redemption codes for the client are coming up invalid on Canadian accounts.
This is the first time I've ever heard of US PSN codes being invalid for Canadians. LOL SE.
You'll need to create a new PS3 user and a US PSN account. Once you download the initial installer from the PSN store, you can log back into your Canadian account and link it to the game.
I mean, I played FFXIV 1.0 for only a month, and I don't remember any of it, so I don't know if I count as "legacy".You are going to Sargatanas when the game is released, BTW.
...Just thought I would let you know.
Does everyone start in Limsa? Or did I miss the part where I choose starting zone?
You start where the guild of your initial class is located.Does everyone start in Limsa? Or did I miss the part where I choose starting zone?

Hoping Conjurer is a healing thing, as I only like healing in these games. Ah well, here I go.![]()

Am I the only one who finds the map incredibly confusing? Especially when you click on "map" in your quest log to let it point you towards the general area where you're supposed to do it.
It is. Leveling conjurer will get you to white mage, too.Hoping Conjurer is a healing thing, as I only like healing in these games. Ah well, here I go.![]()

Once you take your first class to level 10, you can do quests at the other guilds to enable switching to those.dumb question but is there job changing or am I locked into the job I picked at character creation?
Anyone know if people who have 1.0 characters will be able to alter the look of there character in release ie change race and stuff?

With the way the buffs work, I'd think you'd want to double up on fire and blizzard. That way you get some use out of the increased damage for an elemental spell with the buff on, and then you also get to take advantage of the ice buff's MP regeneration increase for a brief moment. So what's the optimal rotation for a Thurmature? I've kinda just be going Thu/Bliz/Fire/Bliz and repeating.
How do you take screen shots on the PS3 version?
That goddamn feel when you're stuck at work for another four hours and you want to get home and play.
It's too late for me, guys. They've already gotten their mitts into me.![]()
