Weapon: Gordian Greatsword (dyed white)
Head: High Allagan Circlet of Fending
Body: Alexandrian Mail of Fending (dyed black)
Hands: Alexandrian Gauntlets of Fending
Legs: Can't really see them, so pretty much anything goes
Feet: Midan Sabatons of Fending
I'm also a little confused about what to do at 60. I'm on the MSQ "Heavensward" so I know a lot will open once I finish that. After that tho what is my next move. I'm sitting at ilvl 200 from the hunt af2.0 gear. I haven't figured out how to upgrade this to ilvl 210 yet. I'm assuming it's buying the gobdip with seals and trading it to someone?
I was thinking of working on an anima since I have a head start on a lot of the items (99 leve allowances, all of the unidentified items). If I do that though all of my lore, which I have no effective way to farm currently with no lvl 60 dungeons/roulettes unlocked, will be dedicated to the anima, so what is the best way to increase ilvl to 240ish if I'm not going to buy lore gear? I'd also like any one of the lanner mounts so which would be the easiest to learn? I'm thinking either Ravana or Bismarck, neither of which are unlocked yet.
This quest that sends you all over the HW areas to reminisce about the events of the MSQs is so sweet~
edit: I finished it.
At the last step, I tried going to his manor, his portrait at Camp Dragonhead, The Vault's entrance; I didn't remember at all where his grave was located, given I'd only been there through a cutscene. Bittersweet quest.

Although honestly what I did was just grind PVP for a full set of Garo gear, which brings you up to 235 and trivializes a most of the content you're talking about right now.
So I just got Royal Road for AST and wondering what cards I should use RR on.
Balance - Always keep.
Bole - Royal Road unless I can't keep up with heals
Spear - Royal Road (I guess?)
Arrow - Keep
Ewer - Royal Road if my mana is 70%+
Spire - Royal Road
Does that sound about right? Does anyone have any recommendations as to what cards work best with which classes? From what I understand, I should always prioritise Arrow for classes like BLM, MCH and BRD. For the rest, I'm not really sure what the priority is.
Wow christ, I hit 50 and did the ARR MSQ, firstly it was whack doing it as both parties charged through and I basically had to skip everything. Ima have to go to the inn to rewatch all the cut scenes..
Then GOD DAMN, they drop like 8 billions purple unlock quests on you, ive spent like 4 hours pinging all over the place unlocking hard missions, hard dungeons, maelstrom stuff, top level maelstrom stuff, my own party of adventurers (!?). Its like bloody hell i cant take it all in.

Just be ready to get the same treatment/feeling once you hit 3.0! You have to remember that your playing the culmination of 43 months of content so your going to be unlocking alot of stuff along the way and that's without mentioning the 4.0 expansion that drops in June.

Last time I checked what you RR is dependant on the content. So Extended Balance/Arrow is better in 4 man where as Expanded Balance/Arrow is better in 8 man. An Astrologian main would probably be able to tell you more.

People who are just starting out or are working on the post 2.0 stuff have a lot to experience. I kind of wish I could re-experience 3.0 but I don't want to go through all of 2.0 again.

Are you crazy? Would you really want to go back and experience Churning Mist Level Grind and complete once again those Moogle Side Quests? I wouldn't want to.
There's so much to experience in this game that I haven't done it all yet so the thought of losing years worth of progress is maddening.
-I still haven't completed all the Beast Tribes (Only finished Ixel and Sylph)
-I'm still stuck in the Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 5
-I haven't touched The Weeping City of Mhach or Dun Scaith
-I haven't touched Alexander: Midas or Alexander: The Creator
-I have never entered Diadem
-I haven't touched any of the Gold Saucer side games outside Cactpot Solver and Triple Triad
-I have never participated in a Feast Tournament
-I still haven't finished
Shiva EX,Ramuh EX, Leviathan EX,Bismarck Ex, Ravana EX,Sephirot EX,Sophia EX,Zurvan EX,and Proto Ultima
Keeping up with the game requires alot of commitment and time but completing all 6 of the daily Roulettes on top of grinding whatever Square-Enix has in mind in order to complete a Relic Weapon doesn't leave me with alot of time to do things on a weekday thanks to work.

Thanks! I'm only doing super low level dungeons but it hasn't been too bad so far, and I've managed to pretty much memorise the card effects and such. AST is so cool to play as.
Just had the most ridiculous thing happen in this game probably..... A guy joined my a11s weekly and says he never main tanked the fight but has 20 brd clears. I just stayed silent and thought he was joking so I let him stay. He died to the first laser sword, ate the optical... he was squishy as paper.... oh my god it was a disaster. This is why if I want tank loot I just roll like everyone else. Tank is not my specialty and 11s is rough to learn tanking. What on earth made him think he could blaze through it like that? What a waste of time.

Au Ra aren't "dragon people" they are people with a bad case of dried skin. They were "dragon people" in the concept art, but babies don't like when their player characters aren't "cute" or "hot" or "sexy" so we get buff dads and sexy cat boys and not glorious scaly lizard men.
