Can do that with what PepperHam said plus there's a photo mode you can access by entering /gpose into the chat box that gives you additional camera, lighting, and emote control.
just to finish off the ways you can do it, on keyboard if you have one connected is hitting scroll lock

Managed to knock out all four floors of Savage today for reset. One-shot Neo exdeath. Genuinely surprised at how easy it has got after our first clear last week. I think next week I'll probably try to go back to AST and co-heal will go SCH instead of AST/WHM like now

Takes the same amount of items as far as I can see, 1 per leve(3total for triple turn in leves).
They did boost the xp a lot on the leves that involves crafting actual items though, and left the material leves alone. For example crafting high steel nuggets is still 230k base value per nugget(x2 for HQ, x3 for triple turn in, so ~1.3m total) but crafting a single high steel head knife is 700k base xp and crafting a single high steel kaltzbalger is a whooping 910k base xp, for the lvl 60 BSM leves. Mind you the kaltzbalger is a pain in the ass to craft with a bunch of mats from other crafts, so it makes sense it's a lot more rewarding as a result.
For comparison, before the patch both the non nuggets were about 450-465k each, so they doubled the harder one and increase the slightly less annoying one by 50%.
Seems nice, especially for leves you can turn in using quest rewards that are still somewhat cheap on the AH(GSM especially). Triple turn in material leves are still a lot cheaper to do but if you don't mind the money cost, doing triple turn in leves with actual crafted items seems way faster and leve efficient, plus the HQ rate is higher since they're 80durability items instead of 40 so you can make more robust macros for them.
Would have been nice if they did that from the start though, since I'm already done with all crafts but eh.
The NPC peeking was a Lala too though. I also had a hard time with the mental gymnastics of the female peeper Lala with one of those Roes she was creeping on, so much so that I just gave up
I have a month off work so I've made it my goal to complete the sightseeing log. The Heavensward and Stormblood ones were easy and I did those as I went along
but the Realm Reborn ones are an complete pain in the arse. I've done 17 of the first 20 but I missed the one at the Invisible City so now I have to wait like 3 days. And then after this a bunch more are unlocked. Thank god for the vista tracker.
I'm really into WHM now. I thought I'd like AST more but I levelled WHM from 60 first and it's a lot of fun. I've started gearing up with Omega Normal drops and VI melds so hopefully if one of our FC's healers can't make it I can sub in for some content. I'm still hoping for some tweaks in 4.1, mostly Divine Benison and Plenary Indulgence, but overall I like it.

Overheat actually being worth doing is making the rotation a little less bland to me, although I know a lot of people hate the 'dumbed down' nature post-4.05 and the extra damage is very apparent very quickly. Dismantle is a really good utility skill, Hypercharge is hypercharge. It's alright but it seems like the overall belief is Bard's current state is OP and if they continue to buff MCH to the point it counterbalances bard we'll end up back in the Creator era double-phys-ranged dream comp. I do think we're back to optimizing Bard potentially being harder than optimizing MCH, but if you play by smashing random buttons blind it's easier to do "okay" on Bard than MCH.
Not FotM still, but respectable enough IMO.

Speaking of the Sightseeing Log, I finally got around to really trying to complete the original ARR 20. What in the unholy shit is up with the leatherworking guild, #9? Anyone have any tips for this besides what I've found in 2-3 year old posts on GFAQS & Reddit? I cannot make the jump no matter what I try, which includes dropping FPS cap, switching to PS4, headbutting the wall, etc.
The other ones marked as hard jumps I did, so I'm not completely inept.....

This deal is also only for people who don't use the steam version of the game if I remember correctly.
VIT is mostly a prog meld; after enough left side upgrades to get to ~36k baseline, it's no longer really necessary (until Super Savage, maybe? I'm keeping my crafted pentamelds for that anyway).
Spell Speed is probably the outright best for DPS* for WHM (+ HoTs oboy) but it seriously screws with nAST/SCH stats. I'm just going Crit and Det primarily so most of the gear can be shared where possible; minimum Piety already puts you at a high Crit set of gear anyway so might as well meld to accommodate it.
*Direct Hit is king but it's less than +1% over the other stats and does zero for healing so eh.

Pretty sure you have to use sprint to get it. You can get like 3 attempts per sprint and then you have to wait for the stupid long cooldown so it's best to get there early if possible.
I'm DET / VIT for progression as Diurnal AST. The VIT melds have saved my ass so many times.
I swear I've been spamming it, I always get pissed when I run off the edge the first try, and then there's 7-8s left on sprint running back up the steps for my 3rd try. I don't know if it's the last little bump you run off of throwing me off or what. I've had the 'vista' message popup once and that was completely random and I hadn't landed on the top. So annoying.

Meant to ask this after it happened but I totally forgot. I ran the trial roulette yesterday and the group was in need of some heals but they already had the Medica 2 regen effect with like 20s left so I decided to throw out a Medica 1. This prompted the other healer to tell me that I shouldn't use M1 and should always use M2, unless I'm in content where M1 is my only AOE heal.
I'd assumed that you wouldn't want to throw out another M2 if you've already recently thrown one out and got the regen since M1 is a higher potency initial cure and you're still getting the benefit of the regen.
Was my assumption right or am I doing it wrong?

If I'm just doing Materia Vs at the moment and farming easy content, I assume I shouldn't be doing prog melds. I'm doing DRK for Savage but just kinda dicking around with AST.
You should use both Medica and Medica 2 depending on the situation, other healer's an idiot if they're telling you never to use Medica. Medica 2 doesn't heal as much since it provides the raid-wide regen, and Medica is more equivalent to an AOE Cure 1.
The higher numbered versions of spells do not work like they do in other FF games, where they usually end up replacing them after you get far enough in the game. They all do different things and provide different benefits.
Meld VIT if you expect to end up in O4S at any point. 3S if you're wearing a bunch of verity gear on the left, maybe. Beyond that eh.
But seriously as a healer nobody appears to care what I meld, what pots I use, or what food I use. I'm mostly just tossing on Det, followed by Crit and then random Spellspeed if the meld will move me between tiers. I even have a meme DHit meld on the hat to go from 0% Dhit to 1%. I'm expecting to eventually end up with the two gear sets again--disaster PF High Piety set, and srsbsns low-Piety max DPS set--so I'm just kind of YOLOing melds.
