I almost picked that picture because it would have been perfect but I stuck with one of the first pictures of the guys in front of the regalia at the beginning of their journey. Thematically it made the most sense to me.

BTW, FFXIV should have been just killed for all I care. If SE didn't waste so many resources on this failure of an MMO, we could have had FFVXIII and a new mainline FFXVI.

Is there any explanation as to why Prompto is an MT than can grow like a normal human overtime?? It seemed kind of weird to me that a so called mechanical being can go from being overweight as a kid to skinny as a teen while growing at the same time. Am I missing something here? I am assuming it is never or will never be explained minus potentially Prompto's DLC.

The latest they could delay to was March 2017. I think 15 had to be out by the end of this fiscal year.
There's also some dialogue after Gladio leaves, paraphrasing,

Did anyone else notice that Talcott has the Cactaur figures he asks you to find for him in a sidequest on the dash of the truck when he picks you up in Chapter 14?
I sort of feel like the anger over the delay lessened over time when it became apparent how much better the game was looking and that the time being spent was good for it.
If they had delayed it to 2017, I would have been a bit disappointed but ultimately happy that we were getting something better out of it.
I haven't finished it yet (Still doing quests and stuff but I think I've about exhausted my options for Chapter 2 at this point) but I am having a lot of fun. I do hope that beyond what's described here we get more QoL improvements in a manner similar to the Witcher 3, but I realize not everyone is like CDPR.
I noticed this, but I'm wondering if they're always there considering Jared's grave exists before he dies, lol.

Fishing is the least fun thing in this game.
I think it's one of the most fun and the best fishing minigame I've played.

Well clearly Yoshida's methods to management is working with the success of FFXIV now.
I don't think you would have had either Versus XIII or XVI if XIV was just abandoned btw. Instead you would be left with a series with no good entries in the past 10 years and continued mismanagement. XV ain't exactly a convincing example that the future of mainline Final Fantasy is safe.

There's still a whole lot of post-game stuff to take a look at. I've never even attempted Chocobo Racing. Haven't stepped foot into the Monster Betting arena. Still have six more dungeons or so to plow through. I probably still have over 40 hunts to do. Should I go ahead and do those or wait for the incoming patch? Hm.

The sealed dungeons are all rubbish btw. I'd say don't bother with those, the other stuff you can check out. Then wait for patches/DLC.

I'm also on Ch 15 and doing hunts and hoarding EXP before I do the extra dungeons. Hell, I don't even have all the Royal Arms yet.
I downloaded a bunch of games during the Black Friday sales, so I think I'm going to move onto those a revisit FFXV once it gets the Pro patch. I also hope they make some serious QoL patches.

The platinum trophy is really super easy, even a little bit too easy for my taste. I don't know how long it'll take me to max. out the fishing skill but I've already got pretty much every other trophy in my ~45 hours so far.

Now that I think about it (again) ch. 13 was very strange. It was the crux of the thinly outlined narrative for me, personally -- I actually didn't mind the gameplay so much when put in context with the rest of the game. The storytelling, though, was just getting brutally eschewed.
It's just that it's both your first and last real look at the empire's shtick, and yet nothing is quite clearly explained, and the emperor comes at you as a friken daemon which you take out in a couple minutes and don't really bring up again, along with Ravus, and a daemon conspiracy is brought up through a handful of notes and left there, lol, and everything is happening so fast while feeling like such a slog in the same time somehow.
I don't and won't get to know what the full original vision for the empire and its affiliated villains were but it sucks it had to come to this. >_<

I found it interesting how Clarus - Gladio's father - uses the old long haired mugshot, basically confirming that "long haired guy" from Versus is indeed him. Ravus also seems to use a slightly different mugshot. Perhaps a leftover from his role as The Hooded Man in Versus? This is the only time we'd see his face pre-redesign if so.
