Save them until you get a unit with good IVs that you want to use.
Alternatively, promote the starter units (Alfonse/Sharena/Anna)! They all get a legendary weapon at 5*, are regularly Arena bonus units and used for various quests, and are good units in their own right. Choose whichever colour you're lacking.
IMO Sharena is the best of the three, followed by Anna, and then Alfonse (Alfonse is only last due to a lot of competition with all the sword-using Lords).
I've got all three at 5*, and I don't regret it at all. They guarantee that I have a fully kitted-out level 40 bonus unit to use in Arena every week and make quests like the GHB rerun quests easy.
You kind of need the extra damage for infernal GHB. Even the later CC two chapter maps have pretty insane adversaries. It really depends on your play style. Do you want more and more characters to use for AA, SA, monthly T10 training quests or do you want a general all-purpose team with a core of three that can eventually get into and stay in T20 and is synergized to deal with infernal maps more easily without dying several times?

Having enemy units in CC and Lunatic/Infernal difficulties survive by 4 HP is going to make you want to pull out your hair.
I don't mind the two focus units, but when they're consecutive Olivia... My luck has been running weird this week. Two straight MCorrin on the Block A banner, then two Olivia on the dancer banner. Pondering whether or not to keep building up orbs for another go or just hoarding until Genealogy / Christmas (or Naga willing, a Triangle Adept or Raventome banner).

They're still trying to work out what sacred coins should do.
It was going to be a four character banner with Tine included, but since you posted that it will now only be a three character banner.

A banner with Soren, Mist, Titania and introduce Rolf as a broken archer. And thus forcing everyone back into colorless hell and pulling only green orbs but the game will just keep giving blues and red.
I'm just clearing the Training Tower quests whenever I have leftover stamina, Almost back to a healthy 100 orbs. The voting gauntlet next week is quite welcome since I need feathers to ascend some units (Eirika & Some Gronnraven fodder).

But none of this characters are from the Dawn Brigade.
It will be certainly be Sothe and Micaiah plus 2. I bet on Nolan and Edward.

Got a Shigure on my secondary acct after hitting 4.25% and trying primarily for Olivia. But he seems alright, the x2 blue tome valor being cool and the main reason I let myself pull on blue. This banner essentially went as expected. Meh.

At least Arena's going swell during the dry period. I'm 4025/9650 in tier 19, so I'll be advancing to tier 20. I have five Defenses, which is awesome.
I've had some seasons with 3-4 Defenses but never beat that until now. I haven't used any Horse and Flier teams on Defense ever.
I don't even feel the need to pull with the results I'm having.

I seem to get easy multiple defense wins in my secondary account, possibly because it is still going up the ranks and also Ike and Brave Ike seem stupid strong on field together. Figures that I have neither on my main account.
Did get a win in the main again, which is all one needs anyway.

I've been getting around 10 defenses a week since Ellincia. Team is a bad IV BIke, Ellincia, Rein and Dancer. Wish I knew how it was besting people since her inclusion.

If you want easy arena defense wins, use a single unit. People try to cheese AA with a single unit and if they run into a triangle disadvantage you win.
I actually welcome this downtime; been sitting on quite a pile of feathers and now that I have little urgency to clear out my barracks or gather orbs for a pull, I can focus on promoting and leveling units. Plus my horses are at 3000 HM so I should start weaning myself off that crutch...

Yeah my secondary account is less than a week old and is swimming in defense wins. I'm running Bow lyn, Ninian, Eirikia and Lucious there. lucious to be replaced with lilina when i finish training her.
This week on my main I have tried:
3 horses plus various dancers.
Bike, Soren, dancer + BK
BK + 3 horses
If I don't get something by rollover I'm gonna hail Mary and run bike, Soren, Julia and Merric and hope a mono green team can ruin someone's deathless run and they just gimme the win.

The truth is that color diversity on Defense makes it easy for opponents to win against you. Just find a composition that hard counters certain colors/class types.
I used Nino, Hector, Azura (WoM3), and Alphonse (with Swordbreaker) this season. This team basically forces resets if the opponents doesn't use a Red Dragon or Mage. Most players prefer to use just one Red Sword, and they can easily get screwed over when facing me.
I've really not had issues with Defense ever since using a similar color strategy. I only struggled in the last two seasons, because my Anna build is still so poor/incomplete.

I went with the bonus Catria, Robin F, Mathilda, Adult Tiki. Targeted at maybe getting a horse team, and apparently took a Xander-led team by surprise.

Imagine if we can upgrade the Fortify Res 1 seal to Fortify Cavalry...
Why would they do that? Although I suppose so long as you can still only have one sacred seal it's not too bad. It just feels like why take that away from brave Ike, it gave him a niche when he could tank even brave reds and then aether back to a respectable health while countering. Also why auto devalue any units you introduce in the future who come with brave weapons? Aside from Reinhart and lyn/ bridelia were brave weapons really that big a part of the meta that such a skill needs to be widely available?
edit: oh they are separate for each weapon class type, that sounds more fair, forgive my fussing then.

Glad I never got past +1ing mine. He'll still be a monster for PvE, but I don't mind letting him take a break from Arena.

Oh, they seem to be specific to general types of weapons. I guess it's nice if you explicitly need a Rein counter but that's not too ridiculous.
