Is Sharena useful in arena even at 4*? She seems OK but people like her, I see. She's not even buff both without some work.

I was going to use up the free 20 orbs but after Lloyd, I need to make room as its 200/200 again. Well, I feel lazy today.

So this GHB was kinda fun. I used a flier with reposition and just ferried Hector to the other side, then ferried my other two over as the horse lancer got too close and healed Hector, lured the lancer back over there, and then ferried everyone back to the other side except Hector to handle the lancer and the rest was history.

Too bad about the reward though. Hopefully Camus is next.

There are still a lot of villains to cover. We haven't even had a single villain from Awakening and Fates yet (unless you count Xander).

This GHB was surprisingly easy if you went over the river. I ran Cherche + Julia + Olivia + Robin.

Cherche Repositioned everyone across the river. Robin took out the mage + archer + Lloyd. Cherche and Julia took out the rest.

It was cramped, but having one flying unit helped because I could just put Cherche over a mountain to save space.

For those who sent Hector across the river for a suicide mission, you don't have to do it. Likely many variations of Hectors won't be able to take 2 initial hits by himself.

Instead, keep him on the left side, and lure them by placing Hector in one spot that only one enemy blue unit can attack Hector. After that is usually case of a red for green Flier, a blue for Lloyd and one other unit of your choice.

Flier Emblem made it surprisingly easy. Palla oneshots the axe flier, and Brave Lances one shot pretty much anything else.

I mean she's not gonna be an overwhelming force like Linde or Hector. But you can set her up to fit into any team. I replaced most of her kit with Draw Back, Drag Back and Hone Atk, I use her as sort of a dancer replacement. She could probably do that just fine as a 4*, or just use her to give out buffs.

I was pulling for her before today as well

oh your post seemed like you'd never gone 40 orbs without finding a banner unit, that seemed crazy.

also sniping orbs has traditionally gone poorly for me. I should probably just yolo pull with 20 every time.

Took me a few tries, but I beat GHB Lloyd with my main team (Spring Lucina, Tharja, Hector, Ninian). Hector did most of the heavy lifting. The attacks from Blue Mage and Horse Archer put him into vantage range. From there I used the other units to weaken the rest of the enemies to the point that they would suicide themselves on Hector.

Hector, Ephraim, Olwen, and Lucina made quick work of Lloyd. Hector nuked the archer and mage. Lucina ate the flier. Hector tanked the cav, allowing Olwen to finish him off (anyone could've done that though. Ephraim counter-killed Lloyd.

I hope perma-death is interesting.

Kind of want to pull for Klein and Ninian, but I have no extra space. Need to focus on inheritance now so that I can pull when I need to. Which I suspect I'll need to for the wedding banner.

You guys can't be serious right? The last thing we need to worry about is running out of GHB candidates; there are just a million of them. It's only a matter of how lazy or diligent IS is. FE4 for example has tons of good GHB candidates. GHB candidates have mostly been the "2nd biggest bad guy that is not exactly bad" and FE4 has tons of these. I for one would kill for Arvis, Travant, Ishtar, Arion, etc. to be featured in GHBs.

I was interpreting the question more as running out of characters already in the game to use for GHB scenarios, not general antagonists not yet included that could conceivably be used for one (even then, FRobin and Navarre show they're not the only characters they're open to using).

Speaking of which, I still can't believe Reinhardt got included so early. Or at all.

a lot of my team's power is concentrated in Linde, who can sweep entire teams regardless of type when backed up by a dancer. It just opens up a ton of options.

Azura is no slouch when it comes to fighting reds, so its not a big sacrifice. I wouldn't bring a low level/weak dancer anymore though, as I've learned to get by using abilities like Reposition.

I think they can all be decent in a fight as long as you make them specialized. Azura is great against reds, thanks to her default sapphire lance. She's probably the most viable in combat out of the box, since Olivia needs a lot more SI to give her either Triangle Adept or a Ruby Sword+.

Ninian can be a sort of budget Nowi if you give her TA and/or Swordbreaker. It lets her beat red swords pretty solidly, including Falchions. Her decent speed means she doubles and kills Ephriam, too.

True, I definitely understand the appeal. I just rarely need 2 Reins and would prefer to have another base covered to give my team maximum flexibility and options. My core team is 1 green, 1 red and 1 blue, and then the bonus unit is whatever. I don't want to give up that blue unit (Nowi) for a dancer.

Yeah, I'm looking into getting another dancer to pair with my Nino. Right now I only have Olivia as a dancer, and I wasn't sure if Nino/Olivia/Eirika/Linde or Effie is a good team or if I should get Ninian so I don't use two swords. I'm just leery of pulling as the last three banners I've pulled I've gotten what I wanted after 40-50 orbs (Hector, Linde (and Klein), Celica (and Genny) so I feel I'm due for some more bad luck.

i have noticed a few more red mages, which sucks for me because using ginny as a bonus unit i don't have kagero. so sometimes it can mess up my team of eirika, azura and nino.

I'm thinking Life and Death, L&D3 is probably too much of an investment but L&D2 combined with Hone Cavalry and Desperation 3 will turn her into a complete monster. You generally want to maximize your attack damage on a brave weapon or dire thunder user. Olwen is interesting because out of the box she seems worse than Reinhardt, but with investment she basically turns into a Reinhart that doubles people. Don't forget Luna to make sure everything dies.

I finally fucking beat the GHB. Jesus.

Went Nowi, Lyn, Sanaki and Sakura. Effectively Nowi was there to kill/tank EVERYTHING except the Green Axeman who I baited out with Lyn and killed with Sanaki. Lyn was also there to speed buff Nowi to ensure she had enough speed to double attack.

Sakura's job was to keep Nowi alive the whole time.

At this point seeing the shockwave then is face popping on my screen is worse than pulling the most useless 3* in the game. Same with 3*/4* Raigh taking away all my Hinata/Lon'qu. Worst is yesterday I get 4* Raigh followed by 3* Raigh back to back. Today? 4* Niles followed by 3* Niles back to back. Probabilities of shit like that happening all the time is way lower than decent things happening to me. It's like the game is spiting me, testing how much utter bullshit I can take...

I have found at least 17 Subakis. Most of them were in one session, the one where I was sniping blues for Ninian and went over 6.00% appearance rate. I was at the point where if I saw his face one more time I probably would've thrown my tablet.

On the upside, Quick Riposte 2 is so damn useful I've actually used quite a few of them up. I regularly use one of my Subakis on 10th stratum flier quests and he's great in Grand Hero Battles. Niles isn't nearly as good to have around.

Blew about 50 orbs to get Ninian. Combined with last banner that's over 100 and if you consider my attempts to get Azura/any blue dancer over 200.

Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with her.

Plan is 80% dance, and 20% combat, basically when she can get a kill without exposing herself or others, go for it and tank a hit when she has to.

Debating between fury and triangle adept for A slot.
Planning wings of mercy for B.
Thinking about promoting adult tiki to get her lightning breath+.

The rest of the team is expected to be Nino, Eirika, and Ike.
So I'm not sure what to do with C? Buffs typically, but I have most of that covered with Eirika. Or I could swap out Eirika for somebody else and put a hone attack and a resistance seal to fill some of the drop off to Nino.

Alternatively I could swap Ike for Nowi, and maybe do hone dragons? With desperation Nino can kill Greens including hector, or at least soften them up for Eirika. Julia would be my biggest threat with that team, even if typically Nino will take her out with one buffed round.

If you're using Reinhardt you're better off using his prf tome. Just bring the proper buffs and you should be able to clear most things with Xander/Rein/Cecilia.

Splitting the group up, Julia for Reinhardt, -wolf tomes are decent but you run into a risk of being too specialized for anti-cav.
