Shikamaru Ninja said:New development team and new director working on the project. Been in development for several years. Biggest change will be the camera system.
Shikamaru Ninja said:Saying a game doesn't exist is impossible. Especially at Nintendo. Where games exist but are never released.

isn't NST horribly undertalented? What have they worked on? I can't think of anyhting besides B-Nintendo titles.
Wave Race: Blue Storm and 1080 Avalanche are awesome games, they worked on Mario vs Donkey Kong too, which is supposedly good but I haven't played that.Odnetnin said:I repeat myself..

Selling out: I believe the whole point is Nintendo is appealing Mario and Zelda to the mainstream. Making Zelda as LOTR as possible and Mario as nostalgic as possible. No more quirky stuff that hurt Nintendo's pocket.

Mihail said:I disagree with this. Complete freedom certainly *sounds* like it's the best, just as a game like GTA:SA, full of freedom, *sounds* very good. But for pre-fab entertainment, it's definitely not the case. If a camera does everything it's supposed to (that is a big if but still a very fulfillable one) then I rather not spend time controlling it when I could be having fun with the game.
I have this whole theory that the only reason we take advantage of the full-freedom camera of SMS is to transition a full 3D game into short 2D actions, but I'm sure that will sound like a bunch of craziness here.
Mejilan said:What was wrong with the Crystalis port again? I beat the NES version when I was a wee tyke, and I bought the GBC port that NST handled, but admittedly, I've barely touched the GBC game.

That's just me. Plenty of haters on this board. But for the record, the NST team has changed alot every year. I can tell you some guys from EA, EAD, and Angel Studios work there now.
You're right. When Miyamoto said it you couldn't be sure, but now that Shikamaru's unnamed friend said it, it's set in stone.sorryaboutdresden said:I guess this solidifies the claim that Mario 128 will indeed be on the cube.
A team changing alot every year isn't usually a good thing, is it?
jett said:What can I say besides that I never had a problem controlling SMS's camera, it felt like second nature to me. The only time it gave me trouble was when it tried to re-adjust itself in a couple of areas.![]()

Shikamaru Ninja said:Nintendo is doing what it has to do. Zelda is supposed to be a mammoth franchise, and as business men, the company has a job to make it appeal to everyone at GAF and everyone who doesn't visit GAF. Wind Waker did not get the job done..
Chipopo said:Zelda can be like Lotter and still be like Zelda. And who are we kidding anyway? Zelda springs from that godawful Ridley Scott movie which (I assure you) springs from Lord of the Rings anyway. Tolkien's work is like 'The Emerils Essence' of the fantasy genre and no dish goes without a nice peppering.

G4life98 said:NST did an awesome job on Bluestorm, the water physics alone made it a more challenging and more fun ride, than wave race 64.
The one negative i find with most nst offerings, is that they seem to lack a certain style punch and end up feeling mundane visually.

Odnetnin said:1080 lookes so ridiculously N64 that all I have to say... NST suck. Especially when you have Amped + SSX to compare this ugly sack of shit to. The stills are still alright.. in motion.. there is just no comparision. Nintendo should have let them all go and hired new/eager/willing staff
